Green Hotel - Chiayi

For those driving, there's no guaranteed parking spot; you'll have to find one yourself. There's a private parking lot right next to the hotel, with a daily maximum charge of $220. However, parking overnight means paying for two days, totaling $440. If you walk about 5 minutes, two alleys over on Xinrong Street, there are two slightly cheaper parking options (next to 7-11 for $130, and across the street for $150). Also, the water pressure in the shower is a bit low. Other than that, everything else was great!

The room was clean, the location was great, and the common area was beautiful. Parking was 100 [currency, e.g., TWD/RMB] per night.

The location is super convenient, with the night market just a short walk away. The elevators were a bit slow, so expect a short wait. The room itself was a decent size, though the toilet felt a little too close to the bathroom door, and the sink's position right by the entrance was a minor inconvenience. Still, it's a good hotel overall.

The room was comfortable and simply furnished. While the walls and ceiling showed a bit of age, they certainly didn't look dirty or run-down. We stayed in a quad room (corner unit) this time, and the layout was quite peculiar. The bathroom was a triangular space, awkwardly fitted with a bathtub and an inward-opening door. It felt incredibly cramped for even one adult and one child to shower. To make matters worse, the door was right next to the showerhead, causing water to constantly spray out through the gaps during a shower. Definitely a poor design! Overall, my impression was decent, and the cleanliness was average. However, considering the room and the price, it still offers good value for money. The absolute highlight, in my opinion, is the fantastic location! They also have an affiliated parking lot. On a side note, there's a Lin Family Fen Yuan (tapioca dessert shop) right next door, to the left of the hotel. It's incredibly chewy and delicious – highly recommended! 😍 The Wenhua Road Night Market is also a pleasant 8-10 minute walk down the alley diagonally opposite the hotel. 👍

Just a 5-minute walk to the night market. Parking is very convenient; you can park your car and then simply walk to dinner. The nearby restaurants are famous and delicious. It's truly in a prime location, a perfect 'sweet spot' within the bustling downtown area. Absolutely fantastic, highly recommended!
