I stayed in room 901, directly facing Central Park. People started singing across the street in the afternoon, and it was incredibly noisy! The room had absolutely no soundproofing; I even thought the windows weren't closed properly, but it turns out the insulation is just terrible. I have a video, but Trip.com doesn't allow video uploads. The hotel's location is great though, with a UG across the street for drinks, and the Cultural Night Market just a bit further down, plus 御香屋 for more drinks. If you plan on visiting the night market, this place is very suitable. However, since I was on a business trip and mostly stayed in the room, it was honestly... so loud. I would definitely not recommend this hotel for anyone sensitive to noise; you can even hear people talking downstairs at night... it's really disruptive.

The Japanese Room is cozy. The location of the hotel is great as it is located near the night market. Easy to find food. The only downside is that the toilet has no heated toilet seat cover.

Love this hotel! great location, just walking distance to Wenhua night market! close to many tourist areas like Hinoki Village, art museums etc. also few mins away from Chiayi train station. Staffs are accommodating, the room is spacious and clean. Love the comfort of our bed and pillows. Price is reasonable. The bathrooms is also spacious with a bath tub. overall great experience, highly recommended!

The location is fantastic. It's right next to the Chiayi Wenhua Road Night Market and very close to Chiayi Train Station, which is extremely convenient if you're heading to Alishan the following day. I chose a Japanese-style room. It was well-equipped and even included disposable slippers. Overall, the place was very clean. Great value for money.
