My stay at Hotel Francs Chiba was incredibly satisfying overall. The hotel is conveniently located just a three-minute walk from Kaihin-Makuhari Station, making transportation a breeze. There are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby, and it's easy to get to Disneyland and the exhibition center. They also offer an airport shuttle, making it an ideal choice for travelers. The rooms are clean and spacious, with excellent water pressure in the bathroom, and come equipped with a refrigerator and free WiFi. The view from the window is expansive. The front desk staff were polite and attentive, available 24/7, and luggage storage was hassle-free. The 14th-floor buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of options, catering to both Japanese and Western tastes. Public transport is also very convenient, and the overall value for money is excellent. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip to Makuhari.

I stayed at Hotel Francs during JpGU 2026, and it was a very convenient experience. The location near Makuhari Messe was perfect for attending the conference, and it was easy to access the venue every day. The staff were very kind and helpful throughout my stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. I also enjoyed the nice view from the room, which made the stay even more relaxing. I would recommend this hotel to visitors attending events or conferences in Makuhari.

Very good, the environment and space are both great.

The room was very comfortable and well-equipped. It had a hairdryer, a kettle, disposable slippers, hangers, as well as conditioner and shower gel. The hygiene was excellent, and there was a refrigerator.

Except for a broken dehumidifier and finding an insect in the room, everything else was completely perfect! The rest of the stay was wonderful, and I really enjoyed my time here.

Stayed for a week and bottled water was only provided on the first day, which could definitely be improved. The breakfast variety was limited, pretty much the same every day with very few green vegetables, quite different from what you'd find back home in China.

Pretty mediocre. The room was tiny, and they only provided one bottle of water. I couldn't get through to the front desk on the phone. The only good thing was they lent us an umbrella when it rained. I've already blacklisted this place.

Got a family room and everone got their own bed. Hotel is a bit older but super clean. Perfect location to stay before flying out. 1 minute walks to the mall behind. 3 parking lots to pick around.

Lovely hotel in Chiba with a great view and helpful staff! We enjoyed our stay, especially how close it is to the beach for a walk and to various restaurants & shopping areas (walking distance from the train station too).

Excellent choice of hotel near convention halls. Near to train station and amenities. Would have been perfect if there are coin washing machines and dryers

The hotel is quite close to the convention center; you just cross the road and use the pedestrian bridge right after exiting the hotel, which is pretty convenient. The facilities are a bit outdated, but for this price point in Japan, most hotels are about the same, so it's relatively reasonable.
