Hotel was not very clean. First room, bathroom was visibly dirty. Then had to move rooms due to a broken heater. Second room has toenail clippings on the table. Second room did have a kitchenette unit which was handy but again, unclean. Staff at the front desk seemed very stressed and waiting for their assurance took a while as there was only 2 working at any point. Location was minutes away from Michigan Avenue and there are many tourist hotspots nearby.

Front desk neglected to tell me you must use your room key to take the elevator to your floor or info on WiFi. No biggie, as I eventually figured it out. But the room was squeezed in a corner so you couldn't open the room door if the bathroom door was open. Luckily only 1 guest as it was tight. It was disappointing that there was no mini-fridge, couldn't find an ice maker and the workout facility desperately needs a couple of large fans as it was sweltering.

The hotel charged me a deposit of $560.74, but returned $460.74 without any reason deducting $100. They still didn’t give me back the $100 overcharged for no reason!

I've never had such an experience before. In my whole life I barely give 2 stars feedback to property, honestly I just wanna give 1 star feedback but the residents are friendly and nice that why I add one more star for them. The location is really convenient, room setting is super clean and organization. However, the black old lady who works at front desk is really mean and rude, she tried to bully me when I was checking in. Her service attitude likes she's guest I'm staff, and I owed her money, too. After check in my mood is really down, so I can't get any reason is why I pay almost $400 a night come here to get treatment like that. If you come to check Chicago I won't recommend this hotel for, or if you like the hotel but don't come to check in around 11am-1pm on Saturday！

I was there because of the Chicago marathon. I stayed in the hotel for totally 3 nights and the experience was alright. It is easy to access to public transport but still if you look for a hotel with better neighborhood, it is recommended to stay near the Magnificent Mile area.

I'm amazed at how affordable this hotel in the Loop is. Sure, the rooms aren't huge, but the location is unbeatable. I can easily walk to the river, the Art Institute, and there's a food court just steps away. It's the perfect base for exploring the city.

My stay at the Central Loop Hotel was disappointing at best. When I arrived to my room it was filthy, there was hair on the floor and the blanket on my bed was noticably dirty. I called down to housekeeping to have them come the room and they told me that if I needed the room cleaned I would need to call in the morning before 10:30 am, meaning that I needed to sleep with the dirty blanket. I made sure to call them at nine the next morning before I went out for the day and they told me that the housekeeping was already full for the day (not surprising given the condition of my room). When I pressed them and said that it was really imperative that someone come up to my room they said they would send someone up. By the time I got back from the city around 3:00pm nobody has cleaned the room. When I went down to talk to them, the staff didn't apologize but said they would send someone down later. I just got back to the room again and it's about 10:00pm and the room still hasn't been cleaned. The staff was super unhelpful during my stay and I would not recommend staying here.
