At first, we had a problem about the room being not ready for check in. However, the staff gave us the king size bed. The location is good not far from the metro and walkable distance to downtown. The main problem for our stay was the very cold weather. Good stay.

They did not give me the room we reserved. They had no other room to give us , so we had to settle for a lesser room. A small credit was offered for the inconvenience, but we wanted a room with a refrigerator and it was sold out. The hotel is dirty and wornout. The safety is lacking. No fire doors on rooms, and sprinkler heads obstructed. My wife stated in our 50 years of travel we have not had as poor accommodations as we experienced at this hotel for nearly $500 /night. Outrageous. I would like to ask for a refund, but I'm certain that non will be forth coming. However I will await a reply before I make my comments public on trip advisor and other review sites.

The facilities are a bit old, but it’s great value for money and a good choice for group trips. It’s located on the Blue Line, which makes getting around very convenient

The room had poor noise isolation. It was very cold in the room, especially in the bathroom. There is a huge gap between the front door and the food. I was disappointed)

The room is a little small for four people. The staffs are friendly and the location is great. It's close to the majority of the attractions. Will stay here again if come back to Chicago
