Hotels in River North, Chicago

Location is good especially 5mins walk to the Grand subway station and it’s in the Shopping Loop. Room facilities is not that good, hair blower plug is shaky unable use. Towels not provided as per paid occupants. Need to request. Unable to do the make up for ladies as the Sensor entrance light is too dim.

The room is tidied up very early every day. The luggage attendant downstairs is super friendly. The restaurant attached to the hotel is not crowded, and the food is average. The transportation around the hotel, restaurants and supermarkets are very convenient

The room is quite big and the bedding is quite comfortable, but it is too noisy. The hum of the central air conditioner downstairs, the beep of the ambulance every ten minutes, the roar of the car, basically make it impossible to fall asleep. The breakfast is also very simple.

The accommodations were perfect for us ! We had 5 siblings and families visiting for an anniversary celebration. The suites allowed for all the children to stay and play together. The mezzanine was large clean and extremely safe for the kids to go in and out at will. The breakfast was excellent! We all were able to eat together and everyone was able to find the foods they wanted. The food was fresh and delicious ! The hotel staff were one of the friendliest of any hotel we stayed!

Facilities: Overall good, but a bit old; the gym is great; Hygiene: pretty good; Environment: located in the city center, 10 minutes walk from the Magnificent Mile, surrounded by convenience stores and various restaurants; Service: The guy at the front desk is very warm and polite;

The room was super clean and spacious. Cleaning ladies were very nice. The girls at the front desk were super friendly, some guys not so much. If you want to cook in the room, you can request some cooking pots, but they were overused and scratched. Their free breakfast is decent. Very nice gym with a peloton bike. Overall, I think this is good option for longer time stay.

The hotel is very clean and tidy. The biggest feature of the room is the floor-to-ceiling windows. The scenery outside the window is very clear. Although there is no bustling Michigan Avenue, it is still good! There is a bar on the 18th floor of the hotel, not big. The hotel has a restaurant on the left side of the hotel entrance, named Somerset, in the room can also book this restaurant in the room dinning, about twenty or thirty minutes to deliver the meal to the room. I really like the bathroom's minimalist wash suit, which is white tea, especially fragrant and comfortable. Shopping, dining and entertainment are nearby. Not far from there are Chinese restaurants, such as Imperial Lamian, Old Sichuan, MingHin Cuisine, Shanghai Terrance, which are just a few minutes from Uber. Royal chef and old Sichuan are very popular! It is also 10 minutes from the hotel to the famous scenic spot Michigan Avenue, which is also close to Navy Pier and Millennium Park. The fly in the ointment is that the sound insulation in the hotel is not good, the guests from the opposite side of the room can hear the opening of the door, but the overall is good!

The hotel was very clean & the bed was super comfy! Check in was easy & they let us check in early which was very helpful. The door man at the bottom of the elevator seemed a little judge mental. We just wanted to go to the bar after attending the baseball game but he treated us like we weren't guests of the hotel, that was a little off putting but the bartender was wonderful!

The hotel is quite good. Many Americans will stay here. Breakfast is hot and cold. Coffee and hot water are available. Luggage storage is free. The environment is also good. The location is great and it is worth booking. On the second night, there was a foreigner celebrating his birthday opposite. It was quite noisy and the soundproofing was not good. This is the case abroad.

We were very impressed! The staff were very knowledgeable and alway made themselves available to assist or answer questions. We were here on a first time visit to Chicago and the Kinzie staff made sure we got the most out of it. The location was convenient for the excellent Chicago Transit system. Many great restaurants were nearby. If we return, we will be coming back to the Kinzie!
