Nice hotel good breakfast friendly staff.

Pub and bar were like any old fashioned country pub bar was extremely busy but there no trouble makers. We are old but very young in outlook and turn in quite late when on holiday however the music in the bar was extremely loud. To us it was no problem but may been to quite a few people

It was clean and tidy but a little dated. It WAS a pub hotel and a pub principally….. needs a bit of a facelift refurb but really….it was fine for a night and convenient

Lovely pub, great room, the breakfast was amazing, location was excellent, staff were helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again

I have stopped here now a several occasions and sadly this has been the worst stay, only by the standard of the bedroom, well mainly the bathroom. The ceiling surround was falling off or had fell off, the sink was leaking into a container in the cupboard which needed emptying. The top of the shower head was covered in a thick layer of dust, which i found this out whilst in the shower adjusting the shower head. In the bedroom area there was spiders webs all around the curtain rails, they clearly has been there for a while.

Check in was a little hectic as the desk isn't separate. Waitress at breakfast was excellent. Good location and quiet considering where it's located.

The heating was off and an external heater was provided. Nice and friendly staff.

Booked last minute and was lucky to have a room very comfortable and clean. Only one negative and this is the front romms are kn thd main riad and being a listed buildjng the windows are not double glazed so the road noise is noticable.

Nice big room and very comfortable big bed. Very friendly staff and nice food. Everything is good.
