Coucher's features stylish decor, comfortable beds, and a cozy bar. Guests appreciate the varied, quality breakfast and friendly staff. Some feel it's overpriced.

The food was great but the manger Ethan was very rude and would not leave us alone whilst trying to eat are dinner but instead grabbed a chair and decided to sit with us and talk and be on his phone and we felt very uncomfortable and was very unprofessional plus the language used was shocking!!!!

Fabulous place to stay. Staff were extremely friendly, food was excellent and the accommodation was lovely. Spa bath was a nice treat. Breakfast was lovely too, and the setting makes you want to go out and explore. Would definitely recommend.

Possibly the worst hotel experience ever. It was nothing like the pictures. Felt dirty. Was very 2/3 star and definitely not worth the price. Should have gone to the premier inn, would have been less than half the price and better quality. I went to pay for my husband’s £6 beer in the morning at checkout and someone had signed for drinks on our room for £88. This wasn’t an issue (they didn’t force me to pay) but it’s just another thing. How would anyone know that. We didn’t speak to anyone else. Very odd indeed. We joked it was a bit like a faulty towers experience and were glad to leave. The bed sheets were poor quality and the pillows very flat. It was generally uncomfortable and expensive for what it was. I booked in hurry and kicked myself as soon as we arrived.

Very disappointing visit. We had been a few years ago and had an excellent meal. This time, the room was not up to standard ... loose carpet by the bathroom, hot and cold signs on bath taps were the wrong way round, sink plug didn't fit and both the showers came on at once with no way to turn one off. The stair carpet was dirty. There weren't enough refreshments ... only one jot chocolate sachet and one biscuit packet. We mentioned the problems with the room to the front desk and the lady said no-one has ever complained before! The meal was OK but we waited for the bread which didn't come so we asked for some (as there were side plates with knives). Looking at the bill, we were charged £7.50 for it! We also got charged TWICE for the starters and to cap it all, just before we were going to drive away the following morning, the hotel phoned us and said we owed them some money but we had paid this the night before with our restaurant bill. My husband went back into Reception with the receipt to prove it. Massively overpriced for very low quality service. We won't be returning.

The service and welcome was exceptional, so friendly and everyone going over and above, thank you. The food at the restaurant on Thursday was also outstanding. Truly delicious and fresh and I can't wait to visit again. Thank you so much Stephanie, Jose and team.

On leaving the hotel we were informed by staff that we had not paid for our breakfast. We hadn't taken one. The staff member disappeared and we left. We were then billed for a breakfast we hadn't had. We phoned repeatedly and were informed that CCTV would be viewed. Fed up we returned to the hotel an hour later where we were informed that the hotel can bill customers on suspicion of their having had a breakfast. The absent hotel manager had authorized our reimbursement. She would be in touch. We have since heard nothing. If the hotel has a problem with unpaid breakfasts they should introduce procedures that avoid false accusation.

Just not remotely worth the price. When we first checked in they put us in a room that was completely different to what we booked. Hilariously, the lady at reception was so unfazed when we came back to complain about the room that it almost seemed that she expected it. Bed was creaky, pillows not replaced since the fall of the Berlin Wall. Food in the restaurant was a bit rubbish, although there was a barman that made a nice negroni. TV in room was a smart TV, but Netflix and other apps didn't work which, according to receptionist, was the same in every room. A budget hotel at luxury prices.

First impressions were excellent the bar area looked stylish and Modern. We were taken to our Russet Garden Room, upon entering the room we noticed a damp, musky smell which was very unpleasant. (I did in fact buy and air fresher for the room) There were 2 different design chairs, one was stained, there were stains on the carpet. Not a good start, then I noticed the UHT milk pots, at £160 per night I would expect fresh milk. A small fridge for the room would be beneficial for this purpose. The curtains need some sort of blackout on them, sunrise at 5.00am, bedroom flooded with light. The bed was super comfortable and the bed linen was fresh and crisp, generous bath towels they were not. The room was such a let down, the site, bar and restaurant were really beautiful with some stunning flower displays. the most friendly and attentive staff. The breakfast was really lovely, tasted fresh and I assume local produce. The rooms could be beautiful but definitely need some attention.
