For my second stay at the white balcony during a vacation with my 4-year-old, we felt "like at home" with the added bonus of the feeling of traveling in this superb region dear to my heart. The location is perfect. The apartment is comfortable, well equipped and warm.

Auberge le Balcon Blanc is my new favorite hostel in Chicoutimi. The room was spacious with a very comfortable large bed. The room was well equipped with a coffee machine with organic coffee provided and a fridge. Arrival was simple 100% autonomous with simple and clear instructions.

Hébergement bien situé à Chicoutimi, près du centre historique. Très calme, nous avons bien dormi. Four micro-onde et grille-pain bien apprécié pour le petit-déjeuner, avec la cafetière dans la chambre. Un peu compliqué pour l'accès de deux "jeunes" de + 70 ans mais on a finit par comprendre, cela prend juste un peu plus de temps. Qualité-prix très bien.

L'emplacement est super, mais c'est tout. L'accès par la porte latérale est très dangereux, car les dalles sont toutes croches. Si vous arrivez à la tombée de la nuit, il n'y a aucune lumière. Il manque de commodité si vous restez plus d'une nuit. Il y a plusieurs trucs qui fonctionnement pas bien ou pas du tout. Ce n'est pas bien entretenu. La communication avec l'hôte est inexistante. Aucun retour de leur part malgré 3 demandes que j'ai envoyées.

Conforme aux descriptions, mais tout cela dans une chambre très petite du style des petits hôtels européens. N'ai jamais pu comprendre le fonctionnement de la télé. Merci de m'avoir accommodée pour le stationnement, en raison de mes limites pour la marche. Un beau quartier de maisons ancestrales, dans un environnement très pentu, plus approprié à des gens plus jeunes et en forme, capables de marcher dans ces conditions; notamment, la rue Racine (bars, terrasses, restos), à deux pas de l'auberge, est située en bas d'une des plus hautes côtes à pic de Chicoutimi. Pour le magasinage dans les centres d'achats et autres commerces, il faut prendre le bus ou l'auto. Trop de courriels pour le check-in et out pour des gens qui ne sont pas toujours connectés à leur cell.

Explications pour entrer très claires. Chambre très propre et literie confortable. Manque de rangements si on reste plus d'un soir. Peut-être un peu exiguë mais emplacement agréable Attention, LUNDI MATIN passage des poubelles à 5h du matin et c'est très bruyant.

La chambre est belle et propre et la localisation au centre de Chicoutimi parfaite. Par contre, l’entrée n’est pas déneigée et je trouve cela dangereux. On doit marcher sur des gros bouts de glace avec sa valise ou autre… ce n’était pas évident. Aussi, c’est très mal insonorisé, ça serait pertinent de mettre des boules quies à disposition des clients dans les chambres.
