We have been travelling for the last four months, staying at all hues of hotels and guesthouses (including other Taj properties), but this stands out as one of the best. Not only is the property absolutely gorgeous with beautifully kept gardens and with incredibly well appointed, well maintained and extremely comfortable rooms (we stayed in both a pool view double and a cottage), but the thing that truly makes this place is the staff team - from the gardeners, cleaners, chef and waiting staff to managerial staff - all working seamlessly together to deliver what was a truly memorable experience for us. They were also super attentive, not missing a trick, without being in-your face, and this is something we both really appreciate. Staff members in particular who surpassed themselves were Mohammad Rana, Karthik, Kaushik, Bishwajit, Ram & Deekshant in the Peaberry Restaurant who fed us delicious food and made sure everything was perfect at breakfast, lunch and dinner; Parmesh who made our room sparkle every day and went above and beyond what he needed to do; the gardener whose name I didn't take but who had the sweetest demeanour and always came out of this way to check on how we were when he spotted us; and Sudheesh (GM) who nothing seemed too much for and who calmness clearly flowed through his whole team. Thank you all! We were really sad to leave - and whilst 6 days may sound like a long stay, it didn't feel long enough.
