Quite dated hotel but should have been excellent in its hayday. Simple onsen. Has its own retro charm. Some infrastructure such as ventilation vans were creaking all night long.

Nice Ryokan near Fukuoka! Easy to find, good price, extremely clean and nice personnel. Nobody speaks English but it's not a problem)) The breakfast was really great! Thank you so much.

I found this place after spending my Japanese hot spring trip in a quiet tatami room. It was a really old ryokan, but it was well-maintained. Although I couldn't communicate in the language, they provided welcome tea and even laid out a futon for me, and the family bath was cheap and very useful. ^^ Above all, I was able to enjoy the hot springs to my heart's content, so I was able to rest for a few days. (It's a secret that my back hurts and my waist hurts because I've been sleeping on a bed. ^^ I had a good rest.

This hotel is very old, but the hotel itself is quite large, which is a pity. It's very dilapidated because of a lack of maintenance, but the food and service were good. So I think if it were properly maintained, it could attract more tourists.

It's quite difficult to get there without a car. If you don't take a taxi, you'll have a hard time getting off the bus. Other than that, it was great. There's not much difference between the large public bath and the bathhouse on the third floor, except for the size.

The facilities are a bit old, but the staff are friendly and, above all, the hot spring water quality is the best.

You can take a direct bus from Fukuoka to Futakaichi, which is not far from Dazaifu. You can visit Dazaifu the next day. It's a peaceful place, perfect for relaxation. The breakfast is delicious, there are two types of public baths available, and bed-making service is also offered.
