Best Western Plus Hotel Fino Chitose

The hotel is located right on the main road, about 500 meters from the train station exit. However, there are several traffic lights to cross, which adds to the travel time, making it about a ten to fifteen-minute walk. Upon check-in, the front desk attendant was very unapproachable, with a stiff attitude and cold tone, making us feel unwelcome. We had a change of plans during our trip and needed to catch a 7 AM train the next morning. We had booked a breakfast plan, but the hotel's breakfast starts at 6:30 AM, leaving us only about 12-13 minutes to eat, which was quite rushed. We tried to discuss options with the hotel, such as canceling breakfast, getting a packed breakfast to go, or even asking if we could have breakfast a few minutes earlier. These are requests that have been kindly accommodated at hotels all over the world when absolutely necessary, but this attendant coldly rejected all of them. It left a really bad impression.

The room was quite spacious, with four beds plus a double sofa. It seems to have been converted from an office building, as there was a structural beam. The bathroom was a pre-fabricated unit, added later. Cleanliness was just okay, but the breakfast was good, featuring a few Hokkaido specialties!

The rooms here are quite spacious and quiet, making it perfect for families. It's also very convenient for getting around and dining. I'd definitely stay here again.
