"To quote a fellow guest "...this is the best hotel in Pakistan that I have stayed at...". For me that may be an understatement! Everything, yes just everything about this little gem of a place tucked away in the remote north west corner of Pakistan is fabulous. From the tastefully appointed rooms with a view to the exquisite dining hall and cozy fireside living room one feels the charm of the wonderful ambience created through an exceptional labour of love by the owners, Siraj ul Mulk and his wife Ghazala and their daughters - a truly family affair. I first visited this hotel in 1998 just after it's inauguration, again in 2002 and now in March/April 2024 after 22 years! Like good wine, it only keeps improving with age! I won't go into details about rooms, service, cuisine, etc. you can read about that in all the other reviews on TA. All I can say is that you won't find a more attentive and friendlier team of people trying to make your stay a memorable one anywhere else in Pakistan or for that matter in the world. From the superb Hotel Manager, Quaid e Azam at the reception to the ever smiling Iqbal in charge of the dining hall and all the other members of the team, it is impeccable service with a smile from check in to check out.
