The mattress is very comfortable. The bed is very soul-sucking. I went to bed and didn't want to get up.
Disadvantages: The shower bathroom is too high and cannot be adjusted. There is no elevator. Book through Trip. Call the hotel and request a 3rd floor. The staff will arrange it.
Overall good, will go back again.

We are a mixed couple (Chinese and UK).
The reception staff were very friendly upon check in. Our room was clean and modern. They provide water, shampoo, soap, body wash and a fridge, slippers, bath robe and a safe.
Location - the hotel is located a 10 min walk to the Park Market and Toshin Market and a 20 minutes walk to the fish market. It's about a 20 minutes walk to the beach. There's some little shops around the hotel, but be careful on the little back roads due to fast cars.
Breakfast - You have to make your breakfast selections on Check in, so you have to know in advance what you wish to eat and drink in the future. The coffee is nice, but the food is just a microwave wrap. It's fine for a breakfast.
The first night at the hotel was good, and we got a decent sleep. The second night, we arrived back, and there was a loud game of Mahjong or poker going on next door. The problem is, they put us in a room with a (locked) adjoining door. The door is not sound or light proof. This meant we could hear every word and clink of the ******** chips and had light shining in during the night. We said to reception, but this kept going on. It really puzzles me why they put us into an adjoining room. The next morning, the next door was open, and I saw it's a room without beds, so perhaps designed just as a games room (see last picture). It definitely made me a bit wary that if one of the players had a key, they could open the adjoining door to our room. Definitely avoid the rooms ending in 09 or 10 if you want to guarantee a good sleep. This isn't the fault of the lovely workers. it's a design problem/owners issue.

The rather large hotel is located directly on the busy Beach Road. Since there is no direct connection to the sea I would hesitate to call this a resort. The main building is set back and there are two wings reaching forward like the claws of a crab. The tips are very close to the road and we were unlucky enough to get a room at the very end of the tip. Check in procedure was quick and efficient. The room is very standard and old-style. No electric outlets at the beds and not that many on the other side. Curtains are not light proof. There is a fridge but there are only two bottles of water in it. Not easy to understand why there are no drinks, I am happy to pay for them. The A/C is very loud. Any attempt to control the fan speed failed. Whatever the setting, it remained at full speed, or so it seemed. The bathroom sink has a stop that is always closed. After washing hands or cleaning teeth you need to stick your hand in the dirty water in order to pull the plus and drain the sink. There is room service for food at a good price and as the only restaurant open was an unpleasant looking bakery shop we had food sent to the room. This was quite OK, but the only place to eat it was at a table on the balcony. Out there it is very loud from the street noise and the irritating whining of the jet ski's on the sea. Not enjoyable or relaxing. So try the swimming pool. This is large but only 1.20 m deep. Just enough for swimming. Of the twelve (!) reclining beds that I counted none was free, so you have to sit on the stone ridge. I saw people with towels, but no idea how to get them. There was no staff at the pool. And then the worst part. It was a long weekend with lots of loud traffic on the Beach Road. Cars, trucks, motorcycles. Loud all night till the early morning, sometimes accompanied by fireworks. It eludes me how a caring host could give these noisy rooms to any guest. Breakfast is buffet style with enough choice. For coffee I would have preferred an espresso machine, the coffee served is mediocre. All in all I would rate the hotel no better than average. For the bad two nights I found that maybe a generous ”poor” would be appropriate. However, the core business and care of a hotel is to provide their guests with a good night's sleep. This I did not get for two nights, so my overall experience was terrible and so is my rating. I will never go back there.

The pool was perfect, clean and comfortable. I would recommend to add a small sauna near by the pool. The room is clean and new, has a nice view. An electric kettle and water is available, hot water and tea at the reception. Whole area of the house is new, clean and beautiful. I liked the swings. We used taxi and drivers always knew the exact building for drop off. Although I didn't have much options for breakfast. The porridge and soup I didn't want, neither fried egg. So only toasts with butter and jam left for me. I would really love to have usual sausages or ham for breakfast with the toasts. All other things were satisfying. My husband is really happy about everything there (especially about his double portion of shrimp soup which I left for him).

This is the best hotel in Bangsaen for service, I had a talk with an expat operations executive coming to ask if I needed anything, and the security guard escorting us to our rooms was very helpful. Also FB is great, everything is delicious in breakfast line. Though the room is quite old and dated but understandable given it's the first hotel in the city. But there were some bird poop (I guess) on the balcony which was quite disgusting, I tried to understand that the hotel was closed for sometime during Covid (given some areas are under renovation and maintenance) so might still not be 100% open with 100% of manpower yet. Also the landscape was quite messy. Anyway, cleanliness is an important key as well, hope it will get better on my next stay! PS. I think there are better choices with this price.

Nice room but a bit outdated style. Located on Bypass - Panusnikom intersection. Suitable for long stay period as there' s a kitchen area. A convenient store ( Family mart ) is in front of the hotel. Wifi is not good. Japanese is a main target of this hotel as you can see everything translate into Japanese . They also have Japanese restaurant and ” Onsen ” in the hotel.

The new hotel is similar to the hotels in China. Everyone needs to register their passports and pay a deposit. They also ask how old the children are. If they are over 8 years old, they have to pay extra. It's too complicated. You have to walk 350 meters to get to 711.

You need to eat outside or bring food to your room . BUT the best is the price around 600 Baht and it look likes a room fore 2000 Baht .

Outstanding
GGuest UserThis is a hostel on the beach of Bangsen. You can see the beach from the hostel, and when you check in, you put the key in the mailbox and tell you the location of the mailbox. It's not a hotel, it feels like a condo, and it's good to stay at a cheap price. I'll upload a picture around the hostel.
PParichadSchool next to the road, clean rooms, looks new, cool air conditioning, good service, lots of parking behind the building.
The downside is that the balcony glass doesn't block sound at all. Can't sleep at night because of the sound of cars coming into the room. Hear every car passing on the road.
The balcony is not clean. There's a lot of bird droppings.
SSandy1031A rather pleasant place to stay in Bang Saen. We stayed in the One bedroom apartment for 3 nights and the 2 bedroom apartment for 2 nights with relatives. Both apartments are very nice, and clean, but very basic. They are both situated in a 6 story block located at the extreme end of the beach road. The views from the apartment are stunning, looking out over the long narrow fisherman's wharf. So easy to sit by the picture window and watch the world go by. The only problem with the location is that no local transport goes up or down to the hotel, although, the hotel does have a shuttle service to take customers to anywhere local, but you need a local phone to call him back. The breakfast is very limited, in fact, almost non existent, but there are several 7/11 shops nearby and a laundromat just 2 minutes walk away. All in all, not a bad place to stay, and the staff were very friendly. Sandy Stirling.
AAnonymous UserThe room smells really good as soon as I entered the room I really liked all including toilet. I think putting electric kettle in the room will be more convenient . Very clean and all are good. But I noticed the aircon has old smell in the middle of the night. 8 mins walking distance to beach and surrounded with many bars, clubs and restaurants. Overall, I like staying in this one.
GGuest UserNice hostess, surroundings is not spectacular. Vintage, clean apartment. Annoying dogs in the street barking.
Not far from the beach, within walking distance. I only have a photo of the beach. Litter everywhere, if you walk farther it's a bit cleaner.
Bbloo46In terms of value, this represents the best value for a 2 bedroom apartment. However the location is quite a distance from main beach area. Not recommend if you do not have your own transport. There was a little confusion during check in as well. As there are 2 buildings and it took me quite a while to check in as the guard was not informed there were guests checking in.
GGuest UserNext to Wannapha Beach, convenient for walking and looking for something to eat.
The only disadvantage is the room that was attached. At the pile of old bottles next door. There was a bad smell and the room windows were not clean.
Other than that, the room is wide. New air conditioner, cool, new blankets
JJosephThe room was fit for my travel needs with my friend, who had his own room. Everything was fairly clean, there were some amenities, and free parking, although there's not much going on in this area - if you don't have a vehicle you will rely on grab. Luckily we had motorbikes. The staff were quite friendly and the checkout was smooth enough.
JjohnwD6860ZUWell I love บางแสน as a fishing village/ resort mainly visited by Thais. Totally disagree with some of the earlier reviews, but I guess they love Pattaya and I don’t. To find a place that’s not over touristed by farang etc is not easy, but here it is. The East end of the beach is a working fishing village, quieter and more downmarket. So relaxing and natural. As to the hotel; do get a sea view room if you are doing more than an overnighter. It is cheep overall and so well worth a couple of hundred baht extra for the magnificent seascape view. The hotel is very basic. No tea making facilities, room safe, frilly pillows etc , but it’s very clean, in good decorative order, new linen and a very comfortable bed and blackout curtains. If you want the extras pay more and go to a mid price range hotel. You can’t have it both ways. The road outside was quiet. We experienced no problem with noise. Food can be delivered but there are lots of good local coffee shops and eateries. Do try “Eat Steak” just round the corner. Fantastic value and really well cooked food, both Thai and simply cooked meats (yes, with chips!) to suit any taste. Breakfast is available at 3 or 4 places overlooking the sea less than 2 minutes from the hotel. I came here for 2 days and stayed 5!
