The hotel is located at nice location. The staff couldn’t speak English and we need to communicate using phone. 

Hotel is clean. Non smoking room. The staff provided good service and were friendly. Near public train station.

Strategically located smack centre of a few attractions in the area. Lots of food around and the service is impeccable. I have always enjoyed my stays at Mecure properties in China, and this is no different. Highly recommended.

We had a shock when we checked into our previous hotel, xiaoxiaoqin, which was nowhere like the photos we saw in trip.com. We checked out and moved into mercure which was nearby. Mercure saved my family trip, really. For one thing, it is clean! Good housekeeping aside, location is also fantastic, walkable to both hongyadong and liberation square. Especially good too, was this small local shop (on the left when u exit the hotel) where we found really good local food. And, late one night, we discovered that food tents were set up at midnight and we had a really good bbq supper. Memorable experience. Mercure met all our needs and more, really salvaged our chongqing stay

Very convenient location with close proximity to places of interest. Room is clean and spacious with good provision of in-room amenities. Hotel also has self service laundry, very useful for travellers. Would definately return if we come back Chongqing!

Location was perfect, walking distance to a few attractions. Room was very clean, bed comfortable, and comes with an automatic toilet bowl. Breakfast spread was great with fixed and variable options throughout the 3 days we were there. Staff were friendly and helpful, appreciate that there was complimentary laundry services with detergent included. You could even leave a note on the washer with ur room number and the staff will help you sort it out! How brilliant! The only downside is the hotel doesn’t have an exact pickup point which makes getting a car difficult especially with luggage.

Strategically located near the main attractions (Hong ya dong, Jie Fang bei etc.). Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Facilities included washing machine, dryer, gyms are available in this hotel. Sound proof of the room can be improved.

Too many smokers in the hotel even though listed as non smoking rooms.

Lobby is small and looks more like a 3 stars than 4 stars. There are 5 steps to get up to the lobby from street level. No one helps to bring luggage up or down. Very disappointing. Nowhere for car/ taxi to stop too. Room is alright. Bathroom/ toilet design is lousy. There is no privacy. As there is no ‘extra’ door outside of the shower cubicle. One has to bring clothes into the shower cubicle to change. But there aren’t enough hangers to hang clothes and cubicle is small, so the shower will wet your clothes! Free tea and coffee at lobby is nice.

Very satisfying with the service of this hotel especially the hotel front desk guy, he explained patiently to our enquirers and remembered our itinerary which is amazing. Chamber maid too even washed and dried our sock while we were outside sight seeing.

The hotel has a good locaton. Staffs are friendly and very helpful even I do not speak Chinese.

The location is superb. Close to subway and many good food eateries around the corner. Family room is clean, modern and spacious. Will definitely come back to stay if visit Chongqing again.

We were very warmly welcomed to the hotel amd greatly appreciated the early check in. The location is great and within walking distance to hongya and jiefangbei. My only gripe was the 'non-smoking' room/ floor we were on. People were puffing away at the lift lobby on L5, right adjacent to family rooms! I know smoking is a big thing in China.. just wish hotels can be more firmed about enforcing a non smoking floor or room. Else, everything about this hotel is great and we stayed 4 nights.

Good location and excellent price. Located in the heart or near the best attraction. Buffet breakfast is nice and price reasonable too. Hotel staffs service is good and friendly. Will likely booked again if go to Hong Ya cave again.
