I stayed at the MX·Qiu Designer Hotel (Jiefangbei Hongyadong Branch) for 7 consecutive nights, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations – I was very satisfied! The hotel is conveniently located on the 12th floor of Xinhua International, an absolutely fantastic spot. It's just a few minutes' walk to Jiefangbei and very close to Hongyadong, making it super easy to find food, drinks, and entertainment. The commercial area downstairs is well-equipped with everything you need, from late-night snacks to convenience stores readily available. I booked a comfortable king room, and the cleaning was meticulously done. Housekeeping came to tidy up every day, the bedding was clean and soft, and the mattress was very comfortable to sleep on. My sleep quality was excellent throughout the entire week-long stay. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, the hot water was consistent, and the water pressure was strong, making showers very enjoyable. The front desk service was very responsive. Any issues I had were patiently addressed by the staff, and the 24-hour front desk offered great peace of mind. The free luggage storage was also very practical; I didn't have to drag my bags around while sightseeing. Despite being in a high-rise building, the room's soundproofing was good, making it very quiet at night. The hotel has a designer aesthetic, with simple yet stylish decor that looks great in photos. The value for money is excellent, staying seven nights for just over 700 yuan – a rare find in this prime location. If you're visiting Chongqing and want to stay near Jiefangbei, I genuinely recommend this hotel. I'll definitely choose it again on my next trip to Chongqing!

Very clean, with a designer aesthetic. The materials and linens are comfortable and well-matched, creating a wabi-sabi feel.

The environment is great, and the front desk staff are very friendly. Most importantly, it's very close to Jiefangbei and Bayi Plaza. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit.

We booked a standard room. The room was spacious and clean. Usually, I don't leave reviews after a stay, but the front desk lady was exceptionally thoughtful. Before we even arrived, she called to ask about our estimated arrival time and turned on the air conditioning in the room for us. She was enthusiastic throughout our check-in and even escorted us to our room. From now on, whenever I visit Chongqing, I'll definitely stay here. The location is also very convenient, just a 5-minute walk from Jiefangbei and Bayi Snack Street. It's very quiet. There are a couple of minor details though: the shower head in the bathroom was cracked, which I hope they'll fix – I got a slight scratch on my collarbone yesterday while showering, which I've disinfected. Also, the room lighting is a bit dim, which makes it hard to see clearly when applying makeup. It would be great if they could provide a movable small magnifying mirror for makeup.

The location is easy to find, the environment is great, and it's very clean. The front desk lady was super nice and, most importantly, very gentle! 😘😘

The room was spacious with a wonderful ambiance. It was immaculately clean and very comfortable. I particularly liked the interior design and layout. The hotel's location is also excellent; all the places I wanted to visit were within walking distance, and there's a snack street right downstairs.

This hotel was an excellent choice for our romantic getaway! Its location right next to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong made getting around incredibly convenient. The room was spotless and tidy, and the ambiance was quiet and elegant. All the facilities were well-equipped and functional. The staff were warm, welcoming, and very attentive. Overall, it completely exceeded our expectations. This will be our top pick whenever we visit Chongqing again, and we'll definitely be back!

Literally the best spot to stay in Chongqing!! It’s at the Jiefengbei city centre and it’s close to everything. Super clean area, spacious and felt super modern. The only problem is that it was really difficult to find as it is on the 12th floor of a building. Other than that, service was great and so was everything else

The front desk staff were very friendly and resolved any issues promptly. The room was spotless, with no hidden dirty spots, and was cleaned thoroughly every day. It was always neat and tidy when I returned, just like new. I had a very satisfying stay.

The room has a very Instagrammable aesthetic, the design is even better than what you'd find at a Ji Hotel! I stayed for two nights in a row! The lady at the front desk personally assisted me, and her attitude was excellent! I'm officially declaring this the best-looking hotel I've ever stayed in! And it was affordable! Anyway, I really loved it!!

Super great! The front desk lady was really enthusiastic, and the room was beautiful! It was also very clean, cleaned daily with fresh toiletries. The appliances were also very smart! Everyone should come and stay here!

Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive, and the rooms are all smart, except for the toilet. Hygiene: Very clean. Environment: The hotel room is quite small, but since it's located in Jiefangbei, it's understandable. However, the soundproofing isn't great. People checking in late at night, walking around, etc., can be heard very clearly. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to bring earplugs or… well. Service: Excellent! The staff are all very proactive and attentive. If you're visiting Chongqing and don't know where to go, you can ask them for travel tips; they have a dedicated travel guide document they can send you.
