Chongqing Jiefangbei Jiaochangkou Subway Station Atour light Hotel

Great location! It's right near Jiaochangkou light rail station, and you can walk directly to Jiefangbei and Bayi Delicious Street, making sightseeing and dining super convenient. The room was clean and tidy, and the simple, cozy feel of the hotel was very comfortable. The bedding was soft, ensuring a good night's sleep. The staff were attentive and meticulous. It offers good value for money, making it a hassle-free choice for a trip to Chongqing. I'd definitely choose this place again!

A friend was visiting Chongqing, so I had to be a good host! After searching online for a long time, I finally booked this Atour Light hotel located in Jiefangbei. It's a brand under Atour and offers great value for money. I booked a room with a courtyard, and we ordered some takeout in the evening and sat in the courtyard, catching up and chatting – it was really nice. The common area has a 24-hour laundry room and luggage storage. Although the breakfast in the morning didn't have a huge variety, it had all the essentials, and the Chongqing noodles were delicious! For anyone visiting Chongqing, this place is highly recommended. The location is excellent, and it's easy to catch a taxi downstairs.

This hotel is super convenient, just a 5-minute walk from Jiefangbei, and close to Hongyadong too, so you can easily stroll over to see the illuminated night view in the evening. Even though it's in a busy area, the environment is lovely and quiet. It just opened in 2025, so it's brand new, and the price is excellent! It's also near the subway, making getting around a breeze. My local colleague recommended it to me.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Jiefangbei and Shibati, making it super convenient for getting around. There are also many night markets nearby, offering a wide variety of food options! The hotel is very clean and the service attitude is fantastic. I've always trusted Atour's quality and service – it's the best choice for travel!

I stayed in Chongqing for 4 days, and before checking in, I specifically communicated with Qingju staff, requesting a quiet, high-floor room. I really appreciate the staff's careful selection of rooms, which allowed us to stay in the 6463 city view king room! Upon entering, I had hoped to overlook Jiefangbei, but this room faced a construction site, and Jiefangbei was still some distance away. I imagine the view will be even more affected once the building is completed. However, even with the construction, the night view of Jiefangbei was absolutely stunning! On the second night of our stay (Friday), there was a party event at a shop downstairs. The continuous, booming bass noise made it impossible to sleep. We reported it, and the hotel staff were very accommodating. Although all rooms were fully booked that night, they arranged for us to temporarily stay elsewhere. Their attitude was excellent, and they even provided small gifts and milk. Thanks for the thoughtful service! They genuinely solved the problem – fantastic! BUT, the next day, after moving to room 6537, I was utterly disappointed. This was also listed as a city view room, but while other city view rooms have large floor-to-ceiling windows, this one only had a tiny window. The room type was vastly different from what I booked, and I even doubted if it truly counted as a 'city view' room. Furthermore, the soundproofing on the 5th floor was really poor! I could clearly hear guests talking next door and across the hall, and children crying. Several times, I was woken up early in the morning by the noise from outside. Therefore, objectively speaking, the hotel's advantages are: excellent location, easily accessible from Exit 3 of Linjiangmen, making it convenient to get to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong. Every lady at the front desk was very friendly and willing to help solve problems. The hotel's thoughtful little details are also worth mentioning: there are washing machines in the public area for guests, the front desk always provides ice water, and they even offer popsicles, which are especially refreshing and thoughtful in Chongqing's hot weather. However, I only wish the soundproofing could be improved slightly. Also, the hotel breakfast had limited variety, so if you want breakfast, it's best to go early. Summary: The location and warm service are definite positives, but for the room type and view discrepancy, everyone should double-check the room type carefully when booking!

The rooms at Atour are always very comfortable to stay in. The pillows, mattresses, and duvet thickness are all excellent. The room was a bit basic, and since I booked late, it felt a little on the expensive side. However, if you can book earlier, these simple yet comfortable rooms are a great option. The hotel's location is excellent; it's just a short walk to Jiefangbei and Shibati, and it shouldn't be far from the river. Breakfast was good, with everything you'd expect. The Chongqing noodles were delicious, and you can adjust the seasonings to your liking. They tasted great even plain, or you could add more spices. The pictures show breakfast, nearby scenery, and a meal I had nearby, which was a bit spicy.

I can't praise this Light Inn hotel in Jiefangbei enough! The location is absolutely fantastic, with the subway right outside the door and Jiefangbei just a short walk away. The room hygiene was impeccable, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. I arrived very late after a midnight flight, but the staff were incredibly welcoming, not showing any impatience. They even offered to help with my luggage. The service was so thoughtful and warm, it instantly relieved my travel fatigue. This will definitely be my first choice when I visit Chongqing again.
