This was my second stay at the JW Marriott Chongqing. The hotel's location is excellent, right near Jiefangbei, so there are plenty of dining options, including several popular hotpot restaurants within easy reach. I booked through Trip.com and received an upgrade. While the hotel's facilities are a bit dated, it's a standalone property, which is a huge plus for anyone seeking peace and quiet. Great location, not far from Jiefangbei. The room layout is excellent, and it's very clean. The room was great – clean, tidy, comfortable, and quiet, with a lovely view of the Jialing River and the bridge. Breakfast was good, and while the evening light meal at the executive lounge was simple, it perfectly met our needs. All the hotel staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. The hotel's central location in Yuzhong District made it super convenient to get around. We stayed for four nights and walked everywhere, feeling like we explored every corner and alley of the district.
