I traveled to Chongqing alone this time and spent a long time deliberating before booking this hotel near Jiefangbei in Yuzhong District. After staying there, I genuinely feel I made the right choice and have to share my experience. The location is the biggest plus point of this hotel. It's a mere three to five-minute walk to Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, and Bayi Delicious Food Street offers a full range of authentic Chongqing snacks. If you crave hotpot or Chongqing noodles, you'll find them right outside. Getting to Hongya Cave and the Yangtze River Cableway by taxi only takes about ten minutes, saving a lot of commuting time, which is especially convenient for tourists. I must particularly commend the front desk staff, especially Xi Xi, who was gentle and meticulous. When I checked in, I wasn't sure about the viewing platform's operating hours, and Xi Xi proactively informed me about discounts for Cloud Eye tickets and even planned a convenient sightseeing route for me. Later, when I needed to temporarily store large luggage, she handled it patiently throughout, without any perfunctory attitude. You could feel the sincerity in every detail. The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the washroom had a dry/wet separation, with 24-hour stable hot water supply. Although it's located above a bustling commercial area, the soundproofing in the room was excellent. Closing the window completely blocked out the street noise, allowing for a quiet night's sleep. The room lighting was soft, and the infrastructure was well-maintained, with no signs of old age or damage. There were no hidden charges throughout my stay. The service was attentive, and travel was convenient, offering outstanding value for money in the core area of Yuzhong District. The next time I visit Chongqing, I will definitely choose this place again and recommend it to all friends traveling to Chongqing.

On the first day, I noticed some grime on the showerhead, but since it was late and there were no other rooms available, I couldn't switch. I ended up changing rooms the next morning. Other than that, everything else was pretty good.

Just checked out and I have to rave about this hotel right in the heart of Jiefangbei! 🥳 The location is absolutely unbeatable – step out and you're directly on Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, Bayi Road Delicious Food Street is practically next door, and it's just a ten-minute walk to Hongya Cave and Qiansimen Bridge 🌉. It’s super convenient for sightseeing and enjoying hotpot and noodles, saving you the hassle of constantly taking taxis. Staying here for a trip to Chongqing really made things easy! I booked a high-floor view room, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered an absolutely stunning view 🌃. During the day, you can look down at the staggered buildings of the mountain city, and in the evening, as the city lights up, the night view of Yuzhong is fully visible – every photo you take turns out to be an atmospheric masterpiece. The room's cleanliness was exceptionally meticulous; the floors, vanity, and even the nooks and crannies were spotless. The bedding was soft and fluffy, and sinking into it made all the travel fatigue disappear 🛏. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, with plenty of hot water and a good selection of toiletries. The front desk staff were gentle and thoughtful. Check-in and check-out (with Tingting) were super fast, and they even proactively recommended authentic local hotpot restaurants that locals frequent, helping us avoid tourist traps 🍲. Despite being in a bustling area, the room's soundproofing was excellent, so it was quiet and peaceful at night, completely undisturbed by the crowds downstairs. Overall, the value for money is outstanding. This stay completely elevated my mountain city trip, and I’ll definitely stay here again next time I visit Jiefangbei. Highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Chongqing!

Very lovely staff members there to help with whatever you need, and a room with a gorgeous view. The only thing I’d improve are the amenities. It felt like a lot of basic items were missing from the room that would normally be provided.

My entire trip was perfect; I completely fell in love once I arrived! The city seamlessly blends mountains and rivers, with buildings at varying heights creating a unique atmosphere. Even navigation can get lost here, yet surprises are hidden everywhere. During the day, I explored Jiefangbei to experience the city's prosperity 🏙, and went to Liziba to watch the monorail pass through buildings – a magical scene that easily produced stunning photos. Taking the Yangtze River Cableway for an aerial view of the Two Rivers was especially therapeutic with the river breeze. Strolling along the mountain city trails and the old streets of Shibati, with their bluestone steps and ancient banyan trees, offered a full taste of old Chongqing's everyday life. Baixiangju, with its retro residential buildings, was incredibly atmospheric; every shot felt like a movie scene 📸. In the evening, the most anticipated spectacle was the Hongyadong night view 🏮. When the lights came on, the stacked stilt houses reflected on the river, like a fairy tale world from Spirited Away. Standing on Qianximen Bridge, gazing at the shimmering water and neon lights interwoven, it was so beautiful I couldn't tear my eyes away. The food was the soul of this trip 🌶; the spicy hotpot with its rich flavors, and the tripe and duck intestines, were incredibly tasty. Bayi Delicious Street was packed with snacks – sour and spicy noodles, icy tangyuan, crispy potatoes, and small noodles, all enjoyed in rotation. The icy jelly was an excellent way to cool down from the spice, every bite authentic and satisfying. The hotel was also great, and Tingting was very welcoming. The locals are warm and friendly, the streets are lively and comforting, with stunning river views, authentic food, and retro old streets, perfectly blending magic and everyday charm. A few days simply weren't enough, and I already miss the hotpot and the river breeze. I highly recommend everyone to come to Chongqing to experience this unique romance. I will definitely come back for a deeper exploration next time!

There were so many things to love about this hotel. I got the 270° Liberation Square room and the room looked just like the photos in cleanliness and quality and the air conditioning works well. You have to stand on the seating to see the square itself, but the view is beautiful regardless. The view was especially wonderful at night from the soaking tub when all the buildings were lit up. It is also quiet at night since the hotel is located on a higher floor. The beds are very comfortable -my friend stayed elsewhere because she wanted a pillow top bed but we both thought the beds at NASA were more comfy. There are many elevators so it does not take too long to leave the building. Xixi at the front desk was very kind and helpful and allowed me to keep my bags at the hotel after checkout. Would highly recommend this to anyone for a comfortable and convenient stay!

I originally booked for one night, then extended for two more because this is truly a fantastic hotel worth staying at consecutively. During my stay, I interacted with front desk staff Xixi and Tingting, as well as the manager, all of whom were incredibly warm and welcoming. Tingting, in particular, was wonderful; when I mentioned late at night that I was going to get some bottled water (the hotel provides unlimited bottled water at a designated spot in addition to what's in the room, for guests to take as needed), she promptly delivered it to my room – so thoughtful! Although I didn't meet the housekeeping auntie, I still have to give a shout-out; even with consecutive stays, the sheets and duvet covers were changed promptly, and she even proactively added more bottled water to my room based on how many empty bottles she saw from my tea-drinking – so considerate! The hotel is on the 36th floor, offering expansive views. Downstairs, you'll find Bayi Plaza Food Street and Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, making it super convenient for eating and shopping. It's also within walking distance to Shibati and Mountain City Trail, and not too far from Hongyadong, so I got some exercise and saved on taxi fares. After climbing stairs all day, a hot bath by the window at night was simply divine! ✨

Front desk Xixi is very welcoming, the room is nice and at hogh altitude with 36th floor, other staff are also nice and helping prvide stuff. The location is near the metro which connect from Chongchingbei (north) railway station.

Seriously recommend this hidden gem of a hotel right by Jiefangbei! Choosing the right accommodation really added to our family trip to Chongqing this time. The front desk lady, Tingting, had such a sweet smile when we checked in, and even offered to help with our luggage. The room was spotlessly clean with amazing natural light, and a great street view outside the window. At night, we could even hear the lively buzz of Jiefangbei from bed. The bedding was so comfortable I didn't want to get up, the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and the hot water supply was excellent. All the toiletries had a lovely scent. The breakfast at Bayi Street, just downstairs from the hotel, offers incredible value for money. They had not only baozi and congee but also authentic Chongqing hot and sour noodles, which both the elderly and children enjoyed immensely. Check-out was efficient and quick, and the staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming – such a pleasant surprise! The location is absolutely unbeatable! It's just a few minutes' walk to Jiefangbei and Bayi Delicious Street, making it super convenient for exploring and dining. Next time I'm in Chongqing, I definitely have to stay here again!

Surrounding it are towering buildings, with old and new structures intermingling and colliding. The vibrant atmosphere of the city seamlessly blends with the bustling life of the marketplace. The hotel, conveniently located near the Liberation Monument, offered excellent accessibility, and the front desk staff, including Ting Ting, were particularly friendly. The unique shops lining the streets are endless, and the aroma of authentic tingringChongqing snacks fills the air. You can stumble upon authentic flavors just around the corner. As the evening progresses and the lights gradually come on, neon signs adorn the streets, creating a vibrant atmosphere. Strolling through the streets, you’ll feel the lively essence that is uniquely characteristic of Chongqing. Every sight will fill you with joy, making the experience truly worthwhile.

My stay at the NASA Cloud High-Rise River View Hotel was absolutely wonderful! ❤️ The view from the room directly overlooks the Jiefangbei night scene, and it's absolutely stunning with all the sparkling lights. Just staying in the room felt incredibly enjoyable ✨. The mattress and pillows in the room were incredibly comfortable, truly improving my sleep quality. I felt so relaxed and at ease. I also want to give a special thanks to the front desk lady. Her service was excellent, she was very willing to help, and made me feel so welcome and warm 🥰. Perfect location for city exploration, located right next to Jiefangbei and 5mins walk to the metro. Room is clean and simple yet very comfortable. Reception was very kind to let me checked in early and very patient with me with my limited Chinese communication. Very kind of them to upgrade my room to this one. Overall, it was a pleasant trip in Chongqing and highly recommend to everyone.

I recently stayed at this hotel and found its location excellent — just a short walk from the pedestrian street, with plenty of shops, cafes, and attractions nearby. It's very convenient for exploring the city on foot and for public transportation. Unfortunately, the room cleanliness left something to be desired. I noticed debris from a razor on the bathroom floor near the shower, which was disappointing and made me question the thoroughness of housekeeping. With a deeper clean and more attention to detail, this hotel would be a great choice given its prime location.
