Everything was great – the environment, the service, especially the cleaning auntie on the 63rd floor who was incredibly enthusiastic and made the experience even better! The river view from outside was stunning and absolutely unbeatable. Highly recommended! 👍

A landmark building in Chongqing, located at the confluence of the two rivers, designed by the same architect as the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. Indeed, the internal greenery and external structure give you the illusion of being in Singapore. The service is also up to InterContinental's expected standards. Before check-in, Xiao Luo, Xiao Su, and Xiao Wang from guest relations department communicated and confirmed our needs. Knowing it was our wedding anniversary, they offered room decoration and an upgraded room type, and even provided complimentary breakfast for our child. I particularly enjoyed the hummus with pita bread at the breakfast restaurant…

In my opinion, this is the best hotel in Chongqing. The location at Chaotianmen is superb, and the room views are excellent. The facilities are comprehensive, with a fantastic pool and gym. The restaurant's breakfast is also delicious. I must especially commend Jasmine at the bar; her service was thoughtful and meticulous. She proactively considered things from the guest's perspective, offering the most ideal suggestions.

Special commendation to Ella at the InterContinental Chongqing Raffles front desk! The check-in process was seamless and incredibly efficient, with absolutely no delays or waiting. She was bright and gracious throughout, providing warm and thoughtful service with complete professionalism. Her kind assistance truly enhanced our stay!

This is my second visit to Chongqing, and I chose the InterContinental Raffles City again, mainly because I craved this view. My room was on the 50th floor, and as soon as the automatic blinds opened, the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers converged beneath my feet, with Hongyadong and Qiansimen Bridge framed perfectly! This image will stay with me for a long time! I also recommend a dip in the heated infinity pool on the 43rd floor, which overlooks the Yangtze River; swimming with the skyline view truly feels like floating. **Location & View:** Raffles City Tower 4N, with that 'cloud-top' feeling from floors 44-65. The Sky Lobby on the 42nd floor is a tourist attraction in itself, with greenery and a curved front desk mirroring the river, and the skybridge offers 360° views of the mountain city. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the river-view rooms directly face the confluence of the two rivers. You can watch boats during the day, and at night, see Hongyadong lit up and the traffic flowing across Qiansimen Bridge. Taking a bath in the tub facing the window makes this Chongqing trip half worth it already. **Service:** This needs a separate mention. Two afternoons before check-in, I received a call from the concierge department, asking about my check-in requirements and details. They asked if I was driving and if I needed a video of the underground parking route (they actually sent a super detailed one later!). If you're traveling with children, they even proactively asked if we needed kids' slippers and toiletries. The Executive Lounge's Happy Hour offers enough to eat, and the Chongqing noodles at breakfast are freshly made to order. Downstairs, you have Chaotianmen Metro Station and Hongyadong within walking distance, which is very convenient for those who prefer not to walk far. This is a landmark hotel in Chongqing, definitely worth it for both the view and the service. I highly recommend Shua Bar! Their seasonal cocktails are super delicious and unique! And, to top it off, they even gave me a small souvenir gift when I checked out! I plan to stay at InterContinental again on my next trip to Chongqing.

The hotel's location and views are absolutely unbeatable. We were given a room right above Chaotianmen Dock, with Chaotianmen literally at our feet. The panoramic view was incredible.

The room was clean and the staff were warm and polite. Breakfast was well-organized, with a hostess seating guests. The room also had a great view. 👍 InterContinental Hotel is good, I will stay again next time. The key is that the location is excellent, with Raffles City shopping mall right downstairs, making it very convenient for shopping and dining.

It's perfectly suited for both business trips and leisure travel, and consistently trustworthy. The front desk proactively upgraded us to a river-view room and gifted us a custom-made small map booklet. The hotel's forest restaurant has an elegant and spacious ambiance, a comfortable dining atmosphere, and a rich variety of high-quality food, making for a great dining experience. The executive lounge was particularly impressive, with high-end and grand decor, a tranquil and elegant space, and a well-thought-out layout. There was a plentiful supply of drinks and snacks, making it a very pleasant place to relax. The staff provided professional and courteous service, with excellent attention to detail. The overall style is outstanding, suitable for both a casual sit-down or a simple meal. My stay exceeded expectations and I highly recommend it!

Overall, the room had no major flaws, except perhaps the controls for the curtains and lights were a bit old and not as responsive. The hotel restaurant had fantastic food and was excellent value for money, plus guests get a 20% discount. If it's your first time in Chongqing, you absolutely have to try it. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit.
