This was my second visit to Chongqing, and I finally got to stay at the iconic InterContinental Raffles City. As soon as I arrived, the concierge took care of my luggage. The check-in lobby is on the 42nd floor, and the breakfast restaurant is in the connecting corridor – truly stunning design, elegant and magnificent. The Chinese restaurant serves high-quality, delicious Chinese food. The room design is classic, refined, and thoughtful, with comfortable bedding. Even the elevators have hand sanitizer and tissues, which is a great touch! From the design to the amenities, the views, and the service, everything was impeccable. Big thanks to the front desk for upgrading me to a 60th-floor room, offering views of both the river and the city. The hotel is located right above a large shopping mall, so all your dining, drinking, and entertainment needs are covered. The location is superb; you can even walk to Hongyadong. It’s definitely a must-stay hotel for a holiday or a memorable life experience.

The hotel's location is excellent, offering expansive views. The service is just right, attentive without being intrusive. The lobby is visually striking, and the rooms are comfortable and cozy. Breakfast is fantastic, especially the high-quality fruit.

Staying at the InterContinental Raffles City was a great experience. The front desk staff were very welcoming and, seeing I was a member, kindly upgraded my room for free. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. The bathroom was well-designed. I drew the curtains and had a wonderful night's sleep. I'm looking forward to staying on a higher floor next time! My only minor complaint is that the toothbrush wasn't very good.

The staff are warm, attentive, and provide meticulous service. The lobby is elegant, spacious, clean, and bright. Our room was also spacious, bright, comfortable, and featured a well-designed wet and dry separation in the bathroom. The restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious food. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Chongqing.

The location is fantastic for Chongqing, offering beautiful night views of the river. It's also very close to all the Yuzhong District attractions, and with a mall right downstairs, it's super convenient for leisure and shopping. Upon check-in, there was a slight air conditioning smell in the room, but the housekeeping staff promptly opened the windows to air it out as we requested. Overall, the facilities and environment are impeccable. From check-in to early check-out, the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming. They even gave snacks and postcards to the kids and recommended many tourist spots and activities. InterContinental will definitely be our top choice again when we visit Chongqing in the future.

We stayed at InterContinental Raffles City Chongqing for 3 days and 2 nights as the final stop of our two-week family holiday in Sichuan, and overall, it was a memorable experience. Upon arrival, the concierge team was efficient and helpful, taking care of our luggage and guiding us smoothly to the 42nd floor for check-in. The front desk staff were courteous and friendly, making the process pleasant. If there is a welcome drink for arriving guests would have been a nice touch—small gestures can go a long way in creating a warm first impression. Our room (5901) was impeccably clean and offered stunning views of the city and rivers. However, we did not rest well due to the firmness of the bed and the dry room environment. I only raised this feedback during check-out and was informed that mattress padding and an in-room humidifier could have been arranged upon request. This was the first time we encountered such an issue during our entire Sichuan trip, so it caught us a little off guard—but it was a good reminder to reach out promptly for assistance. Breakfast was a definite highlight of our stay. The spread offered a fantastic variety with delicious flavours, catering to both local and international preferences. The service crew were attentive and proactive, making the dining experience enjoyable and well-managed. My children were slightly disappointed that the souvenir packs typically offered to young guests were out of stock, as they had received similar welcome gifts at other hotels during our trip. The hotel’s location is truly outstanding. Situated within the iconic Raffles City Chongqing complex, it offers breathtaking views of the confluence of the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers. It is also very conveniently located—adjacent to Chaotianmen Square and within walking distance to Hongya Cave. A special mention goes to the customer care team for preparing a birthday cake and greeting card for my daughter, who is turning nine. She was absolutely over the moon, and we truly appreciated the thoughtful gesture and attention to detail. Overall, InterContinental Raffles City Chongqing is a well-located luxury hotel with excellent service standards, outstanding breakfast offerings, and thoughtful touches that made our family stay memorable.

Extremely satisfied with this travel experience. The accommodation environment was so comfortable, and the view was excellent. We happened to catch the drone show, and the hotel lobby offered a perfect viewing spot! The room environment was comfortable, elegant, and spotless! Next time I'm in Chongqing, I'll definitely choose the InterContinental Raffles City again!

The room facilities were fine, and the environment was upscale, but the real issue was the lack of warm, smiling service. Everyone seemed to be just going through the motions, which created a strong sense of detachment instead of making you feel at home. My friends and I weren't even allowed to take photos in the lobby with a DSLR camera because of the flash, though phone flashes were apparently okay. When we tried to discuss it, they just cited their 'rules.' I even asked them to show me these regulations and apologized, but after three hours of trying to resolve it, we got nowhere. It was just unbelievable.

A truly excellent stay! The location is superb, offering fantastic views of Chongqing's night skyline. It's also very close to the pier, making it super convenient for evening boat trips. Service, facilities, environment, and cleanliness were all top-notch – absolutely nothing to complain about!

The room was nice, and since we had an elderly person with us, they thoughtfully placed non-slip mats beforehand. The bedding was very comfortable. The capsule coffee machine was a real treat for coffee lovers. The night view was absolutely stunning, though it's a shame the drone show was cancelled – otherwise, it would have been absolutely perfect. Downstairs, there's a shopping mall with a wide variety of dining options.

InterContinental Chongqing Raffles City has a great location, right above the Raffles City mall! The rooms have a bright style but aren't very spacious, and the soundproofing is just okay. The river view is fantastic, and the bedding is quite comfortable. Breakfast is rich and varied, and the service is attentive and thoughtful. The staff are enthusiastic and professional, responding quickly to every request. This time, the hotel was fully booked, so I couldn't get an upgrade, and the room rate was too high, making the value for money average. It's hard to see the drone show from anywhere other than the river-view rooms or public areas. Plus, it's difficult to get member upgrades. You really need to be clear when booking, as even late check-out can be tough during holidays. For a '网红酒店' (popular/influencer-hyped hotel), I'll have to think twice about staying here again during peak season.

Facilities: Fully equipped with a gym, swimming pool, bar, and restaurant. You can enjoy all services without leaving the hotel. Cleanliness: Spotlessly clean and tidy, no unpleasant odors. Environment: A city landmark in Chongqing. The mall downstairs offers a pleasant way to pass the time, and with metro access, transportation is convenient. Service: The front desk staff are warm, generous, and attentive. Room service is prompt and efficient. I'll definitely choose this upscale hotel again when I return to Chongqing.
