Riverside International Youth Hostel

The room was excellent, highly recommended! It's a no-brainer for students or anyone on a budget. The environment is really comfortable and the location is pretty easy to find. It's easily one of the best hostels around. The common bathrooms are also very well maintained, and all the facilities and equipment are brand new. The owner is super easy to talk to and has a fantastic attitude! 🥰

I arrived in Chongqing on October 1st, and there weren't too many tourists that day. After communicating with the owner, I confirmed there was an available bed and could check in early. The environment was quite good, consistent with the pictures shown, and very clean with no strange odors. The people staying together generally kept to themselves, so there was no awkwardness. It's a good option when traveling alone. I forgot to take pictures, my apologies. Chongqing is a lot of fun, I'll definitely come back again if I get the chance!

It was really great! I met many foreign friends, and the owner was super nice, helping lots of international guests with their issues. I'll definitely book this place again next time.

After much deliberation, I'm so glad I chose this place; it definitely didn't disappoint! The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We could contact them anytime with any issues, and they'd always resolve them for us. The rooms were spotlessly clean, with daily housekeeping, and there's a spacious common area. All nearby attractions are within walking distance. I went to see the spectacular night view of Hongyadong, which was incredibly crowded, but Chongqing is certainly worth a return visit. Chongqing gets incredibly hot, so having the hostel's air conditioning running 24/7 was a lifesaver. Stepping into the room was always a refreshing relief – just perfect!

The location near Jiefangbei is excellent, and the rooms are spacious. We appreciated the daily cleaning service. The air conditioning in the room worked perfectly, and the front desk staff were very friendly and always willing to help resolve any issues.

The room was cleaned daily. There seemed to be a lot of international guests here, and it was a pleasant surprise to get to use my English, which I hadn't spoken in years! The atmosphere was really good.

The room was spotless, and the staff were incredibly friendly. We had a really comfortable stay. The location is fantastic, very close to all the main attractions, and there are tons of delicious hot pot places nearby. I've actually stayed here multiple times, and it was a great base for my first trip to Chongqing.
