Chongqing Ashan River View Hotel (Jiefangbei Raffles Square Branch)

This was the most satisfying room I've stayed in these past few days. The hygiene was exceptionally thorough, the room was spacious and bright, and the soundproofing was excellent. All the staff were patient and attentive; I particularly want to commend the front desk for being so dedicated and responsible. The facilities were complete and functioned perfectly, making for a very comfortable stay. I highly recommend it! I'll definitely come back next time!

The hotel's location is excellent, with great transportation links all around. Buses and subways are just a short walk away, making it super convenient to get to all the attractions. The room was clean and tidy, with a simple yet elegant design. It had great natural light and ventilation, and the comfortable bedding ensured a good night's sleep. The service was attentive, warm, and thorough. Right downstairs is the Raffles City 'influencer hotspot,' and getting this hotel at such a price truly exceeded my expectations. It's definitely worth coming back!

The hotel entrance is right by Metro Line 1, and the Lawson convenience store next door is open even in the early hours. It's also right by the famous sloped area near Chaotianmen, where a lot of people take photos. It's very close to Chaotianmen Square and the Yangtze River Cableway. The hotel is pretty good, and the service is great. The only thing is that the elevators can get a bit crowded and slow during peak hours, but with 6 elevators serving the lobby on the 2nd floor, it wasn't really an issue for us.

The hotel room is decorated in a stylish and minimalist way, with a loft-style two-story layout. The living room is downstairs, and the bedroom is upstairs. During the day, sitting on the sofa downstairs and watching the cruise ships come and go on the river offers a unique experience. The 1.8-meter bed has a mattress that's just right—not too soft, not too hard—making for a very comfortable sleep. The bathroom has a wet/dry separation, and the hot water supply is very stable. The staff are enthusiastic and respond to messages quickly.

I finally picked the right hotel for my parents' trip to Chongqing. We didn't have to bother with taxis to take them to see the night view at Hongyadong, and the room was well soundproofed. The mattress wasn't too soft, so my parents slept very comfortably. The bathroom not only had non-slip slippers but also a non-slip mat. The cleaning staff were very thorough and provided excellent service, and the front desk lady was incredibly patient, helping us move to a quiet and comfortable room.

We chose the duplex room and it was a delightful surprise. The first floor has a tatami mat area with a direct view of the Yangtze River, and the night view is incredible. The second floor also has a tatami mat where you can enjoy the night view, and the projector TV adds a touch of luxury. Both beds face the window, so you can enjoy the night view even while lying down. The hotel is conveniently located on the second floor of a food street. If our itinerary hadn't been so tight, we would have definitely stayed a few more days.
