Chongqing Shapingba District Hotels

We had a fantastic time at Huafang Hotel. Located right in the midst of old city attractions, and convenient for metro travel too. Beautiful facilities, infinity pool with a great view, spacious and well-appointed rooms. Exceeded expectations! The staff were fantastic. They went above and beyond to help us with receiving packages, with our heavy luggage, and with answering questions. Thank you Xiao Tan and Xiao Xiong! The only minor challenge is the main road does not come up to the front of the hotel. But the hotel staff were there to greet us at the road and carry our luggage up to the entrance.

First, let me praise the service. 👍 After booking, I received directions to the hotel, and they carefully distinguished between taxi and subway routes, helping me find the hotel quickly! The air conditioning was already on in the room, making it very comfortable. The housekeepers are all beautiful, gentle, and responsive to our needs. I especially want to praise Linglin, who arranged a late check-out for us because we had a high-speed train at 6 PM the next day and let us rest in a booth in the lobby. My mother also had a Hanfu photo shoot, and Linglin patiently took us to the fitting room to choose clothes while the makeup artist was doing her makeup. She even brought us fruit and snacks in the dressing room. 👍 Finally, the hotel's location is right in the scenic area, a quiet escape from the city. The rooms are much larger than those at the Huafang for the same price. The only problem is that the breakfast is a set menu, and the small pastries and whole grains are a bit cold. A bit of improvement would be great.

Tower 5 block B of the shopping mall above shapingba railway. Mall is huge and long, walking from one end to another takes 15 mins? So as the unit at tower 5 of block b, its at the edge of the mall. Tower 1 houses many hotels and is in the centre of the mall instead. Consider those if walking long distances is a nono for y'all The apartment is a unit in a shared building. So lifts can be a wait during peak hours. No issues with the apartment. Clean, big, and has a washer dryer combo.

The hotel is very clean and tidy. The room is very large and comfortable. The bed is very soft and the light is great. It is not far from the subway station and the university town. It is very convenient. The overall layout is also great. You can see the night view of the micro-mobility by the bed. It is very convenient. The projection is also very cool. The room facilities and equipment are very smart and very easy to use! It is a very cost-effective experience. Not bad!

As a long-time IHG member, Holiday Inn Express has always been my preferred choice for extended business trips. This particular hotel is quite decent, but my only complaint is that the large TV cannot be used for screen mirroring. Due to the way the mounting bracket is installed – it's too low, likely for aesthetic reasons – there's no space to plug in an HDMI cable to connect a laptop. I even consulted the hotel electrician, but they couldn't resolve the issue. This really impacts the entertainment options for guests on longer stays. Couldn't the hotel simply install an HDMI extension cable? A half-meter cable only costs a few dollars. I suggest that every TV should come equipped with an HDMI extension cable to meet guests' business screen-mirroring needs.

I suddenly wanted to eat hot pot, so I went on a short trip with my little daughter on the weekend. Ctrip has used Diamond VIP. This accommodation makes my daughter and I feel particularly safe and comfortable. I will definitely come again next time. The hotel has a good environment, clean, tidy, and excellent location. Thanks to the manager Rambo for his warm, thoughtful and efficient service. The staff are very dedicated, polite, and considerate of the guests. A very satisfactory stay experience! Staying in this hotel made me feel the warmth of the Chinese people, the beds are comfortable, the supplies are thoughtful, and the service is meticulous. It is an ideal place to stay for business trips and travel.

The room was impeccably clean; I felt perfectly comfortable walking barefoot on the floor. What I loved most were the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows. As dusk settled, I could brew a cup of complimentary freshly ground coffee, sit by the window, and take in the dazzling panoramic night view of Chongqing. It was incredibly therapeutic! The breakfast spread was simply spectacular, with everything from local Chongqing noodles to Western pastries, and every dish tasted incredibly authentic. The attention to detail in service was impeccable, and it offered fantastic value for money. Absolutely the perfect choice for a stay in Chongqing!

The service attitude of the hotel front desk is very good! The room is large and suitable for a family of three. The hotel is in a good location, close to the subway station and convenient for travel!

The hotel is in a great location. The subway line 9, line 1 and the ring line are very convenient downstairs. It can go directly to the airport. There is also a Shapingba high-speed railway station next to it. There are also many bus stops underground at the high-speed railway station. (Turn left from subway exit 7 and then right to the entrance with Building 2 to go to the 29th floor. It is very close, but people who just arrived need to find the direction.) The service is very friendly. It is spacious enough to stay in a twin room (2 1.5-meter beds) with 2 big and small children! The room facilities are advanced, the smart toilet is very comfortable, and the bath water is flush enough~ The cleaning is very attentive every day. The breakfast is enough for the trip. There are small noodles to eat and there is a laundry room. Chongqing is worth a visit, and this hotel is recommended!

After a long trip from Guangzhou 广州 to Chongqing 重庆, decided to stay at this hotel because it's near Chongqingxi Station. It's walkable distance, around 5-7 minutes from the station. Room is nice, pretty quiet. I got a direct view to the train tracks so I can see trains come and go, and the noise is not too disturbing! I can sleep pretty well. The hotel do, fortunately, provide ear plugs to help reduce the noise, but I did not use it. They have a laundry room at 2nd floor and restaurant at 1st floor. Breakfast buffet is really good! Plenty of variety from western to chinese.
