Great room, everything you need for the night. Location not close to centre, but super close to the railway station for the Costal Pacific train, which was my reason for booking this motel. Reception staff very friendly, even providing bottle of milk for the morning coffee!

I have given 5 stars to this motel for the service, cleanliness and amenities because each aspect of these beat my expectations! I am usually very conservative in giving reviews. Initially I was expecting very basic service given it is a motel. But when I opened the door of the room I was quite surprised. You could feel the room is very clean and bright. The amenities are sufficient to make a simple meal for yourself. There is also daily housekeeping services as well (given it is a motel). The staff at the reception are also very helpful. When I first arrived, the reception lady asked me where I planned to go and showed me the ways. The motel is also close (5-10 minutes walk) to the Main Street at Riccarton and there are a lot of restaurants there. You can also take bus to the city centre which takes about 30 minutes including waiting. The motel is also very close to the Christchurch railway station which is only 10 minutes walk, great if you are taking the scenic trains. There are also a number of shops near the Railway station and you can do some shopping for clothes, vitamins and fresh food too!

Good ideal room suited for our needs. Only downside is that there is not quite enough car parking spaces for all units if full, however the proprietor did make space for our car, so full marks for that.

Clean and looks new. Reception was super. Rooms were ready before check-in time. Wifi was excellent on 1st day but kept dropping on second night while on video conference. Car park a bit tight and need to be careful. But, excellent place to stay overall. Would recommend.

I stayed here for one night when I first arrived in Christchurch, and stayed in Christchurch for two more nights after my self-driving trip to the South Island. The location is very convenient, and it takes no more than ten minutes to drive to downtown. There are also several good Chinese restaurants within walking distance. In addition, I am quite picky about hygiene, and I really can't find any faults with this hotel. It is very clean overall, very quiet at night, and the bedding is also good and very comfortable to sleep. It is very cost-effective and recommended!

The room facilities are a bit shabby. The room door is a glass door with only a blind, and the sound insulation is not very good. The location is good, there is a shopping mall nearby, and it is convenient to eat. You can park at the door, which is quite convenient.

The room was okay, quite clean and quite satisfactory. But compared to other hotels in New Zealand, I highly recommend this hotel. There is a high probability that Chinese-friendly hotels are owned by Chinese, and they don’t have the pungent smell that some other ethnic groups have. He enthusiastically recommended our travel routes, gave us milk, and also provided free parking. The location is not far from the tourist destination, and there are several shopping places around. Unfortunately, our schedule was too tight and we didn't go there. Also, make sure you check whether the room is on the first or second floor when booking. They do not have an elevator and are not responsible for carrying luggage.

The motel is well maintained, the rooms are spacious and bright, and the equipment in the room is well maintained. There are kitchen utensils, so you can simply cook something for yourself. It is very close to Riccarton, and it is very convenient to go to Westfield or eat around. There is a bus stop at the door, and it is also very close to the city on foot.
