This hotel is super convenient if you're staying near Christchurch Airport. It's just 100 meters from the exit after you pick up your luggage. And if you're renting a car, it's even better – the car rental parking lot is right in the large car park in front of the hotel. The room itself is quite spacious, though the sink area for brushing teeth and washing up is a bit narrow. Breakfast is on the 6th floor and has a good variety of options.

Good location for whom have to board flight in early morning. Hotel information counter is very nice to give information to me. The room is spacious and clean. I have a good night stay here.

Walking distance to airport which most suitable for those midnight plane. The hotel also have restaurant, so dinner can just eat at there no need to walk out. Strongly recommended.

The hotel's location and service were both excellent! Even when checking in late at night, there was someone available to assist, and everyone was very friendly. The room's facilities were all comprehensive, perfectly equipped, and incredibly comfortable and convenient. The bed was, without a doubt, the most comfortable bed I've slept in at any hotel in New Zealand!

There's a 'green supermarket' nearby, which is good for stocking up on essentials. The room is very clean and quiet, the breakfast is decent, and the front desk staff, especially the young man, is very enthusiastic and helpful.

The service was warm and attentive, and it's not far from international arrivals – within walking distance. Even though I arrived quite late, the front desk staff was very welcoming. The room has bottles, and you can get filtered sparkling water from the dispenser near the elevator. The room was clean and tidy, and I had a great rest.

Overseas rooms don't come with slippers, toothpaste, or toothbrushes, so you'll need to bring your own. Water isn't provided in the room either; you have to get it from the hallway, so it's a good idea to bring your own cup or water bottle. Other than that, it's pretty decent. It's within walking distance to the terminal, and the front desk staff are quite friendly. There's also a restaurant upstairs. The bed was comfortable, and I slept well. This place is better than the Novotel at Auckland Airport.

The hotel is right at the airport, so the location is excellent and super convenient. It's just a 5-minute walk to a supermarket and coffee shop, which is great for stocking up before a road trip. The hotel seems relatively new. However, this time my flight was delayed and I couldn't make it to Christchurch, and they wouldn't refund or change my booking.

On our honeymoon, we drove around New Zealand's South Island. We landed in Christchurch in the evening and picked up our rental car the next day. Novotel was the most convenient choice – it's just a one or two-minute walk from the airport. Plus, the parking for all the major rental car companies is right downstairs. This was perfect for us as we just needed to grab the keys from the rental counter at the airport and then pick up the car from the parking lot the next morning. **Facilities:** The room wasn't huge, but it had everything we needed for an overnight stay. **Cleanliness:** The room was clean and tidy, and the sheets were spotless. We saw cleaning staff working diligently throughout the morning. **Environment:** It's within walking distance of the airport, but the soundproofing is excellent; we couldn't hear any airplane noise. **Service:** Very good, the staff were polite. And the breakfast was fantastic – definitely worth trying!

I’ve stayed at several Novotel hotels, including the one in Christchurch city center. Since we had an early flight the next day, we chose Novotel Christchurch Airport for convenience. The location is excellent—right next to the airport and very close to the car rental return, which made our travel much easier. The room was clean and comfortable, though amenities felt limited. For example, slippers were not provided and had to be purchased, which was surprising as they’re quite essential. I didn’t mind not having items like toothbrushes or shaving kits, but slippers would have been appreciated. On the positive side, the Wi‑Fi connection was stable, and the hotel’s Food Exchange restaurant was a highlight, serving delicious food with a panoramic view of the airport. Overall, a convenient stay with great dining, though the in‑room amenities could be improved.

We arrived at the airport very late and were exhausted, so we picked the closest hotel. This was our first hotel in New Zealand, and the front desk staff were lovely and communication was smooth. My child had sprained their ankle, and they graciously extended our check-out time to 12 PM. An Asian-looking manager even brought ice packs for my child. Overall, it was a very heartwarming experience. The next day, our whole family was so tired we overslept and missed the breakfast we'd paid hundreds extra for. Sigh... such a shame.
