In list format.... 1. Premier plus rooms are only by name. They are normal rooms but with signs. Old style bath with a shower attachment. Very poor and definitely not worth the money. 2. No draft beer now. Only bottled expensive beer. Apparently it's the 'new' thing. Very poor 3. 1 member of staff to serve food and run bar. Around the main dining time you cannot get served (bar + food) and you have to pre book everything 4. Staff are excellent despite massive failings by corporate 5. The vending machine rarely works if you wish to grab a snack on way out, which is serviced by an outside agent, therefore not the staffs problem, but they still have to deal with the fallout (!) 6. Everytime you book you are advised that changes are being made and things will improve, but no, they are just getting worse. 7. Regular staff members are great despite these failings. It's now the Travelodge for me in Christchurch town.

The room was pleasant enough, clean with comfortable beds. The hair dryer was faulty, had to manoeuvre it around to get it to work. Really annoyed that they didn’t have any eggs left for breakfast, poor planning. Got our refund any took our money elsewhere

Our first but not last stay at a premier inn. The room was very good for the price, staff efficient and welcoming. Cleanliness was above average and mostly everything worked in the room. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and good quail produce. We found the restaurant staff to be friendly and hard working if not understaffed at times which is not their fault but we couldn’t fault our service at all. A great four nights and good weather to boot. My only gripe was that the car part could have done with a tidy around the edges and the non existent parking lines repainted and made wider for todays size cars and the vans of which there were plenty during our visit. But all in all a good stay.

We have stayed in all the local premier inns and I think this was the worst one. We went for the premier plus room hoping for a bigger bed but we were sadly disappointed. Pillows were flat and awful, the extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t work and I struggle to see what warrants it as a premier plus room. The bar closed at 10pm every night (separate building) there was no draft beer as apparently they had a gas leak!

Have stayed here several times, its a great location got getting out and about, the staff are always friendly and helpful, clean and tidy as you would expect from a premier Inn, the Beefeater on site is excellent as is the food and service, pleanty of parking.

Very disappointed with the way this has been run down. Rooms are as expected thankfully because everything else is awful. Arrived 15 mins early and made to sit like naughty school children in reception as we refused to pay £10.00 to be signed in . Another family turned up with 2 young boys, one desperate for the toilet .No toilet in reception area or in adjoining restaurant which was closed. Very sad to see the lad so distressed ,and no compassion from receptionist. When booking on the website there is no mention that the Restaurant next door only takes bookings for the evening meal ,and is closed after breakfast (which we avoided) reopening at 5pm until 10pm.Pub is very run down with non accessible tables blocked by a stained suitcase rack .it is not open to non residents for some reason?Shelves behind the bar empty, and skeleton staff not enthusiastic to serve you. There is obviously a hidden agenda for this Premier inn ,which i shall watch with interest. I advise you to avoid at all costs, which sadly appears to be what they want.
