Elysian Gangchon Resort Reviews

The location of the resort was fantastic, ski in ski out. The staff gave us a room with 4 beds and a kitchen so everyone got a bed instead of having 2 of us sleep on the floor. The condo was warm and had everything we needed. There were lots of space and definitely big enough for a family of 4 with 5 suitcases. The breakfast was super and the restaurants there provided the variety needed for the 4d5n. In addition, there were more food choices in the skiing area. They have a carpark in the basement and we didn’t move our hired car the whole duration. The cleaner only came in to give us towels and they never cleaned the room though. They only had a handful of hangers so it was just enough for the ski coats. Only new little towels were provided, but we knew ahead of time so we brought our own big towels. For what we paid, I am extremely pleased with what we got. If we do come back to this ski resort, we will definitely stay here again.

2nd time living here, but the hairdryer is still dirty as last time I came 🤢 Luckily they are helpful to send a new one if you requested... but seeing the hairdyer cleanliness will make me feel is that everything else in the room is clean enough..

It was a good stay. I enjoyed the time here. The condo was quite old, however, the facilities were very convenient. I could go skiing, sauna, the kids can go 눈썰매, kids park, game zone, and the Gs25 had almost everything we need for a vacation.

Booked a room for three it was big with two rooms but there were only two single beds in one room and the other nothing, my daughter had to sleep on the floor. The room smelled like bleach. Towels provided were small. Few choices for food and they were bit expensive. People at the reception were ok, however the staff at the shuttle information were the best. Went above and beyond to help me figure out my route back to gimpo.

It was even better than I expected. It's clean, perhaps because it's been remodeled. The view, the barbecue facilities, and the friendly staff are all wonderful.

The location is great, and it's a great place for families to travel, so I visit every year. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a family vacation.

I visited Elysian for the first time in a long time to take my kids ski lessons. I requested a type A family room with two bedrooms, and each room had two single beds, so our family of four slept very comfortably. The room, kitchen, and bathroom were all clean, and it was nice that there was an induction microwave and coffee pot, so we could cook simple meals. It's close to Seoul, and the slopes are good for beginners to learn, so I think I'll go often next year.

The location was nice, and the quiet was perfect for healing. I had dinner, but it wasn't as good as I expected. I skipped breakfast, and I had a good rest.

I stayed in a family room for two nights. They only provided two bottles of water on the first night. They didn't provide any the next day either. You have to buy them if you need them. The room rate isn't cheap, and they're incredibly stingy. They don't even provide bathrobes. They don't even clean the room. I even had to go get my own towels. The front desk staff were rude, and I was disappointed. The facilities were average, but the view was nice. The concert was by an unknown singer. They were good and entertaining.

There are different restaurants and convenience stores in the hotel. The staff are friendly and can communicate in English. The hotel is very close to the ski resort.

The facilities are clean and the pool is great for kids to play in. However, the food prices are all expensive. Ramen is 7,000 won.

Always comfortable during ski season. The facilities are old, but the cleanliness is the best compared to resorts of the same class. The top floor is less windy and has hot water. The ski slopes are not crowded, so it is really good for children to ride.
