Find the Cheap Gerard Hotels

Very disappointed in state of cabin for the price. Was a standard cabin but still expect more for $155 per night. Cabin needs a full Reno to bring up to standard. Both two seater lounges were very worn & floor in front covered with black vinyl after sitting on. All fixtures in bathroom were loose & mixer tap pipes connected wrong so cold was hot & hot was cold. Could be dangerous for kids. Only saving grace was great shower & very comfortable beds. Even the tea towel left was thread bare & holy & 1 small milk for 3 people for 4 nights a bit stingy plus 1 tube of shampoo & body wash hardly enough for our stay. Great time was had visiting surrounding places of interest & the park itself was one of the best we’ve seen with lots to do for families. Would I return to a cabin stay? Probably not. Return comment I got from management was that it was a standard cabin & should come back & try a better upmarket one, but will pass on my concerns to maintenance. Maybe I could’ve been offered a discounted stay & would maybe consider another stay but no such offer was made.

During my recent stay at Comfort Inn & Suites Riverland in Barmera, I had a wonderful experience. The hotel is located on Hawdon Street, offering a convenient and central location. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, providing a relaxing atmosphere after a long day of exploring the beautiful Riverland region. The staff at Comfort Inn & Suites Riverland were friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. The location of the hotel was ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions, including the picturesque Lake Bonney and the local wineries. The convenience of having restaurants and shops within walking distance was an added bonus. Overall, I highly recommend Comfort Inn & Suites Riverland for anyone visiting Barmera. It offers comfortable accommodations, friendly service, and a great location to explore the beauty of the Riverland. I look forward to my next stay at this hotel.

I have stayed in all 3 room types. The Riverview is lovely and modern. The Gardenview is spacious but a little older. I made the desperate mistake of booking the motel room this time. I was by myself visiting friends in the region so the size of the room wasn’t important. What is however is the bed so bouncy you nearly bounce out of it when you roll over. The day I arrived it was o we 35 degrees and the room was stifling hot when I checked in. The noise from the doof doof music coming all day from the Gaming Room (apparently) was so loud last night I could not hear the television. I only know this because at 9pm when I called reception to complain about the noise the fellow that answered the phone say they get complaints all the time. You cannot open the windows unless the smell of cooking oil through the room is appealing and there are no ceiling fans so you’ve no choice but to sleep with a noisy air conditioner on. I feel like I’ve slept under a bridge for the last 2 nights. Oh and I paid $10.10 for an iced chocolate on the cafe. Do better people.
