We liked the hotel very much. For travellers who want to use the ferry to Oslo with car, the location is particularly convenient. The hotel has a big garage and is located right in the center of town. Check-in at the hotel was very professional and friendly. The room was exactly like the photos on the website and offered a beautiful view onto the Kieler Förde. The breakfast was very rich. We did not take advantage of the dinner because the rooftop bar and restaurant was closed due to a private event. The only negative point was that we had to log on to the wifi again and again when the computer was switched off. We will gladly come back again.
This is a modest, slightly old-fashioned hotel. My single room looked quite freshly renovated, though. Enough space to store your things, even a (very small) room safe, a clean and functional bathroom. Cleanliness in the room itself was mediocre (some spots on the carpet and it didn't look like they cleaned the space under the bed, but it wasn't too bad). Quite comfortable bed. Small, acceptable breakfast. The location is convenient, in easily walkable distance from the main train station and close to the Stena Line ferry as well - though the immediate vicinity isn't particularly nice. Reception was closed overnight at the time of my stay. For the price, the hotel is alright.
Don’t stay here. Both times we have been here it has been excruciatingly painful to say the least. The first time we had the so-called presidential suite and another room for the kids. The presidential suite had a door that didn’t fit properly, dirty windows, filthy cushions on the couches. Old-fashioned furniture that has been badly beaten up and they are charging a premium price for the rooms. With the five of us we had quite a bit of luggage and my wife asked for assistance. Eventually somebody from the bar (refused to give his name but someone at reception said he was from the UAE) ambled up to my wife and said “you want some assistance with a luggage?“. Yes replied my wife. He then looked at her and said “we don’t do that here“ and walked off leaving her to struggle with three small children and a number of large suitcases. Absolutely appalling is the only way it can be described. Just simple good manners would dictate that somebody would help a woman with three children and luggage up some steep stairs and into the lift. Just not too hard thing to do for a young man…. Surely? The bathroom is dirty and smelt of mould. The second visit was no better. We would not have stayed here if it hadn’t already been pre-booked and paid. They managed to completely get the booking wrong and then refused to even try and sort it out in order to make our visit more comfortable. Instead, we end up with a tense and very unhappy situation exacerbated by the extraordinarily rude staff at reception who would not listen to our requests. Strongly recommend you stay away from this place.

The rooms and bathrooms are as new. Unfortunately, the condition of the bathroom was unsatisfactory, with limescale deposits in the shower under the toilet, and a slight smell of urine in the air. I got 89 euros at the reception for 67 euros through the app, which is related to my high standards. In addition, there is a breakfast that should be charged 15 euros. I personally think that these two breakfasts are too much. Personally, I will go on a business trip and sleep here again, but privately, I may not necessarily spend my vacation there.
This hotel is a destination and a starting point for our multi-day bike tour along the North Baltic Sea Channel. The hotel is quite cheap for this bike tour. The hotel also has a closed and sufficiently large bike room to ensure the bikes can be safely accommodationd. The service is excellent at both reception and breakfast, always very friendly. The housemaster is also top, could help us with a short-term tool super. The room is spacious and - we had a room for the garden - quietly quiet. In the evening you can sit in the quiet garden and the small bar has a small but very good offer of drinks. The two excursions from here on the beginning and the end of the day are also very good to do from here, as the right bus is both from the point of view of the Kiel South Coast and from the ferry to the North Coast very close and here too recommended. Overall we can recommend the hotel very well.
I spent hours researching hotel options in Kiel (never been, was invited to a birthday party), and wound up in this hotel. No question that the hotel offers the best location for Kiel activities at the best price. They have regular sized rooms and larger rooms facing the waterfront, expect to have each room come with everything you expect in a 4 star hotel. In-house parking available, just about everything worth doing in Kiel can be reached by foot, the ferry boats leave from a pier virtually across the street. If you have the time, definitely take the ferry to Laboe, other side of the harbor bay, where you will find a wide variety of beach front restaurants and shops and the U995 WWII submarine exhibit - above ground, with the price of admission (around $10) you can walk it stern to bow. Anyway, back to the hotel - this is the best option for the money, do not hesitate to book.

After a 12-day cruise, we wanted to make the holiday expire in Kiel for two days and have booked a room in advance ... I was allowed to conduct a very friendly telephone call and we were offered a great room. At the arrival (the only small manko) it was unfortunately not possible for the hosts to pick up our bag 🧳 from the port, but we were offered to order a taxi for us. What I thank you for refusing because we were standing in front of us about 50 taxis (which no one wanted to carry us just about 200 meters) so to third with 2 small children and 6 bags from the hotel 🏨 At the reception was a very friendly Reception was explained everything exactly and a city plan we also got in the hand coffee machines for free use 24h top In the next 2 days we were also welcomed with names very friendly and we were explained the buffet , it missed Practically no such staff needs the gastronomy rooms were and were picked up by Picobello and the baggage transport ordered by the reception to the railway station has also best knocked up inches and once I'll be back in Kiel I'm coming back here

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the same building as the Ibis Hotel. Left entrance Ibis, right entrance Adagio. Also, these are the same staff in both hotels. Apart from the Ibis Hotel, the hotel room offers a kitchen line. For families practically, you don't always have to go to dinner. Supermarkets, shopping malls and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity. The hotel has an elevator and free Wi-Fi As in the IBIS Hotel, breakfast is Mo-Fr 06:30 to 10:30 and Sa+So 07Uhr-11. Drinks like water and coffee are available free to 22:00. There is also a bar in the dining room. Eat there until 22:00, drinks until midnight The TV in the room works well.
GGuest UserWe stayed at the Steigenberger for one night. The hotel is nice and conveniently located opposite Terminal 28. It also close to the city centre. The buffet breakfast was very good. However, there was only a bottle of water in the mini-bar. The weather was quite hot and there was not ventilation unfortunately.
CCaomeigrace#positive #I was happy with the Soundproofing, Nearby Restaurants, Location, Natural Light in the Room, Hotel Smell, Value for Money; The hotel is right at the entrance of the train station, which is very convenient. There are several bus lines, supermarkets and restaurants around it. The hotel rooms are very soundproofed and the room size is also suitable, which is not small in Germany. The only unsatisfactory thing is that the shower room is too small, but the shower water is sufficient and the water temperature is very good.
One of the standout features is the hotel's vibrant common areas. The lounge and bar area offer a great space to relax or socialize, and the breakfast spread was both delicious and varied. Me And All Hotel Kiel offers a delightful stay with a modern twist. It's definitely a top choice if you're looking for comfort and style in Kiel.
FFr. OelsnerSuper Hotel was for the journey! Breakfast was super delicious and our dinner in the restaurant right in the hotel has very mouthed us.
The staff and their service were absolutely nothing to expose, the people there are all super-previous and friendly! Rooms were also very clean, as well as the hotel in the whole! Who wants to shop, doesn't have to walk away from the hotel and is already in the centre!
I'd like to come back if it should happen again!!!
GGuest UserNice and quiet hotel in a good location. A little small room, but as it was only a base for shopping, that was a minor detail.
Friendly and welcoming staff at the reception.
Breakfast buffet with a fine selection - despite many people, the queue at the buffet was winding down quickly.
AayurttasBooked double room at expedia, hotels.com. Pictures shown at reservation and room we got do not match. Receptinist played as if hos english is poor insisting room is the booked one, so you will risk you will not get what you book as there is definitely wrong marketing of rooms: Do not believe in pictures!. Other than that, you will not die if you stay one day here in transit as we did. But, room we stayed was dirty, including toilet/bathroom which is not ok. And we used our own towels as ones we had in room were not clean
AAchim StephanskyThe hotel is very well to reach at the outskirts of the city, relatively quietly located. As a night accommodation in connection with a cruise is very recommended, as it is to reach the cruise port in a few minutes walk. It is also well located for excursions to the city. The breakfast is still a little air upwards, since the hotel was very visiting at the time of the visit and the breakfast room (in the EC) reminds a store store (long-track room) there were waiting times for a seating room for breakfast. The hotel is still very new and clean. The rooms are convenient, simple but modern furnished.
Parking facilities for cars are apparently defectware here, but could not be checked as arrivals with the train.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is located on the edge of the pedestrian street, convenient access, clean and hygienic, the room is a bit poor in sound insulation ... but this price is still good overall, will come next time.
