Simply excellent, a tranquil sanctuary during our recent European tour. I just enjoyed four nights at this wonderful hotel and would recommend it to anyone and everyone! All of the staff are absolutely charming and extremely helpful and attentive and very good listeners. They have mastered their craft and this really made all the difference. Food, coffee, pastries, and breakfast Were thoughtfully prepared with the best ingredients. I especially liked the coffee. The bed, pillows, and linen I found luxurious! The room had everything I needed to be comfortable and the thermostat for heat was easy to figure out as well. They really make it so easy for you to enjoy yourself. The bathroom was very large and had everything I needed, including a hairdryer for me traveling solo. A bit of advice, if you find yourself eating a lot at breakfast and then again at lunch and don’t want to go out for dinner, I used Uber eats and it was extremely straightforward and easy. Nice to have an option. There is a wonderful restaurant just down the street. However, all the restaurants I tried in the neighborhood were both extremely delicious and well priced. The location of this hotel could not be better. It was just a short walk down to the ocean with many shops on the way which I did several times a day. I researched a lot of hotels before booking and I’m so glad that my instincts were correct.

Tout d'abord , bien entendu l'emplacement est l'atout majeur : en plein centre ville , donnant sur une rue piétonne , et ayant tout de même un parking. Autre atout et pas des moindres, l'accueil, le professionnalisme, l'écoute et l'extrême gentillesse de tout le personnel est à souligner (et très arrangeant pour tout). Ma demande de chambre au calme a été écoutée et appliquée. Ensuite justement, j'ai été bluffé par le calme de cet hotel (et je peux être difficile à ce sujet) , il est étonnant , et donc excellente, parfaite insonorisation (d'ailleurs le vendredi soir un grannnnnnd groupe de jeunes musiciens était présent, et je ne les ai pas entendu malgré les avoir vu discuter au salon extérieur ou sur les balcons , lors de mon arrivée tardive le vendredi) . Ensuite, les chambres sont grandes, très bien agencées, on peut y circuler et y respirer, ce qui est très appréciable, avec de nombreux rangements. tout ceci, additionné au mobilier , pourrait faire rougir certains 4 étoiles bien moins terribles à ce sujet. la douche est grande également. Les petits déj sont bons, en chambre ou en salle, et à prix corrects. dailleurs , par rapport aux prestations, j'ai trouvé le prix des studios tout à fait corrects. le parking est payant, mais le prix des chambres étants corrects, cela fait un tout raisonnable. Si vraiment je devais chipoter sur un détail, ce serait la lumière-minuterie qui s'allume et s'éteint tout le temps à l'extérieur devant les chambres, donc toute la nuit aussi; la chambre avait des rideaux occultants, mais on voit par le dessus, le dessous et les cotés, mais la fenêtre étant en face du lit , en se tournant sur le coté , on finit par faire abstraction. je reviendrais dans cet établissement avec grand plaisir. (sur mes photos il manque la partie table et chaises qui se trouvent devant la fenetre, en face du lit ... pour donner une idée de la taille de la chambre)

GGuest UserSpent 2 nights here for a short break, as we love Biarritz. It was our first visit to this hotel. It is centrally situated, making it an ideal base for exploring the town. We received a warm welcome at check-in and were delighted with our 3rd floor room. We booked a prestige room with a sea view, which was a good decision and well worth the money. The room was spacious and comfortable. Very good bed and bedding. The coffee machine was appreciated, as was the fridge stocked with complimentary soft drinks. These were topped up daily. The bathroom and separate toilet were spacious and well furnished with toiletries. Bath robes and slippers were provided. I especially loved the anti-fog mirror. The shower was powerful, with plenty of hot water. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel, but did use the bar for a drink and a planche of charcuterie and cheeses, which were delicious. All staff were friendly and eager to help. I was surprised that although the hotel is classed as a monument, there is no information on its history in the rooms. To me, that is a selling point which should be well publicised. We had to check the internet for information on the background of the hotel, which is fascinating. It would be well worth printing off a page and leaving it in the rooms. Overall an excellent stay and we will definitely be returning.

GGuest UserWe arrived Hotel Le Biarritz in the middle of the night, desperate to get a room for the night for 2 adults and 3 kids, due to our originally booked apartment hotel next door gave us cardkeys that were not activated upon arrival. The reception was closed and the telephone number in case of ”emergency” was turned off after midnight. We were warmly welcomed by a very nice man, unfortunately I do not remember his name. We got 2 rooms with a very good discount and the 3rd room for free. The children were hungry, so we asked if we could buy some snacks. He offered us pancakes. He went to the kitchen and came out with a trey full of pancakes, yoghurts, and 3 different sorts of cakes and water. He also asked if we wanted breakfast in the morning, but we were not sure we would make it in time, so he told us we can have the breakfast for free. We also had access to the pool the day after. Unfortunately we didn't have time to try it. Our rooms were small, but nice and clean. (I see from the pictures on their website that they have bigger rooms with balcony). In the morning we got breakfast while the kids were still sleeping. We then got a little basket we could bring to the room with full of croissants for the kids. If it wasn't for the already paid apartment hotel, we would have stayed in hotel Le Biarritz for the rest of our stay in Biarritz. We have never ever experienced such a nice welcoming and service in any other hotel we have stayed at before and strongly recommend this hotel for the service and location. It is located near the beach, 5 min walk. 10 min walk to the grocery store and other nice restaurant. The bus stop is also located right outside the hotel. You can also walk all the way to the city on a sidewalk right by the beach. We would definitively one back to hotel Le Biarritz.

We very much enjoyed our week and a half at the hotel. Very close to good beaches, excellent restaurants and shops. The hotel is in a pedestrianised square so very little traffic. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. We had a lovely view of the sea from our room. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. The decor of the hotel was very tasteful. It was also very clean. The chilled water and pastries left in the lobby each day after breakfast were a nice touch. I would happily stay at this love.y hotel again

Excellent base, close to the racecourse, clean, comfortable with extremely friendly reception staff. It is a fair way out from Pau centre and public transport is difficult if not impossible on Sundays and after 7pm, but there ARE taxis. Bus 10 from the airport stops a few minutes walk away (get off at Europe) Kitchenette is fine but no oven(very good microwave and two ring hob) Recommend, particularly if you want a base for racing or are breaking your journey and have your own transport. Stayed for 10 nights over New Year 2022/2023

I normally don't write reviews but this place was so subpar I have to warn other travelers. I specifically booked this room because it had air conditioning. When we got there, the air conditioner hissed, but no cold air came out. I alerted the staff and they said that they would fix it, and I even offered to switch rooms if it couldn't be fixed that day. The hotel clerk shook her head at my suggestion and said that it would be fixed. When we got back later that night, it clearly wasn't fixed and the staff refused to do anything about it. The blinds were so caked with dirty there was no way we were touching them. We stayed in a stuffy, hot room, and it ruined our experience of Biarritz. To make matters worse, there was a fly that was stuck in the room and buzzing around our heads all night long- not only gross, but couldn't sleep! The broken aircon wasn't the only thing wrong- the room was not clean- spiders and spiderwebs in the corners, dirty blinds, overall unsanitary conditions. Definitely avoid this place if you can!

PPatrick ELa chambres est vieille, l hôtel est vieux, on le sait. Mais malgré ça c est propre. Rien à redire de notre chambre. Le personnel est très gentil à accueil. Nous avons pris trois matins dessuite le petit déjeuner sur place, on s est régalé. Pain frais, croissant, jus d orange de qualité..Nous étions très bien!! Et encore merci aux personnes qui nous ont accueilli
