Excellent hotel, very good restaurant, with reasonable prices for a high quality kitchen. Serviceable, welcome and listening to the client. Rooms all comfort and perfect service. I strongly recommend this place.

It is probably the best hotel in the area. Pros - it is clean, quiet, modern, in a good location, friendly staff and OK price. There is parking (10 euro a night), and breakfast is included. The cons - it is bare necessities. Small rooms, in room coffee maker, no fridge, no pens, paper, one very tiny trash can, no USB charger ports. You get exactly - a bed, plastic chair, small desk, 2 small night stands a decent TV and a bathroom.
The hotel is located in the heart of Montbelliard, in the heart of Montbelliard, in the car (road and railway stations nearby) Parking in the hotel Spacious, comfortable rooms.. perfect litre.. Breakfast breakfast nice staff, available and listening We were in Montbelliard for Christmas illumination, the hotel is ideally located
This experience was a joke (only, unfortunately, it wasn’t). I admit I don’t know the local hotel standards in small French towns, but it was definitely below my standard even for a 3*. I booked a deluxe room with check-in at 1 am. I reached the hotel in advance to make sure they remember about me and my late check in (I considered the option that they might be closed at this hour). When I arrived, the reception guy told me there was no booking under my name! How was it possible considering I earlier had an email conversation with them about my booking?!! I had booked a deluxe room specifically because I wanted a bigger than standard room. At the check-in, Theo told me only one room was available — a comfort one. It was the size of a wardrobe, literally. Old, rundown furniture the size only right for small children was all cramped into what seemed a 10-12 m2 space. I know room size is a general issue in France, but that is why I hedges my risks by booking a bigger option IN ADVANCE!! Only the hotel didn’t care anything about it. When I complained, the reception guy told us the only alternative he has is a room that hadn’t been cleaned. He literally suggested we could stay there after he changed the bed linen. So he probably considered it OK that we would use the dirty bathroom and toilet in the room with no problem?? So my husband (height 190 cm) and I had to sleep on what seemed a child’s bed (large 120-140 cm). The night was simply terrible. The floor and staircase tiles in the hotel screech badly so when anyone passes by you hear it very well. The wooden doors get slammed by the hotel residents starting at 7am so if you wanted to sleep a bit longer (like we did after a 1 am check-in!) — GOOD LUCK! There is no adequate ventilation system in the room. When we got in it was all stuffy so we had to sleep with an open window and hear all the screaming from the street in the morning. Don’t even get me started on the quality of the bathroom and its equipment that was born probably in the 60s. But the epitome came when the next morning we came down to have breakfast. When we entered the breakfast room, there were only TWO clean tables. All the others were cramped with dirty dishes and food remains. It felt DISGUSTING. So it appears that the hotel staff doesn’t bother cleaning the tables. They wait until every guest has eaten and only then do they clean. So it was a nauseating experience to be sitting and eating surrounded by someone’s scraps of food. My general conclusion is that the hotel is very relaxed about cleaning and sanitation in general. I would NOT recommend it to anyone and thanks god it was only one night!
We have a small, perfect escape in Montbéliard. We chose the suite Eberhardine, a large luxurious room with ideal views of the place and the Saint-Martin temple, and what room it was! We used to the short escapes of love in guest rooms around France today, we had never seen a beautiful room, decorated with such a taste. Room, bathroom, plombing, ceilings, bleeding ... all is of the first category. The guest is also remarkable of kindness, doubled with burning to advise us the best restaurants, those opened on Sunday, even to book for us. The hotel is a very friendly and passionate city, and the great area around Montbéliard is a great place to stay on the Prince's Balcony.
