Find the Cheap Ashley Heath Hotels

There seem to be some negative review about the St Leonard’s but not all is true, situated on the main road it’s easy access into this establishment, I was greeted with a friendly welcome by Adriana, Chrissi and John who made me feel very welcome with a huge range of drinks and a great menu! The food and drink was wonderful and always served with a smile, I would definitely recommend this pub/hotel and the rooms are comfortable and homely! Thanks team. Great job!!

Where to start! Room was tiny and damp! Extractor in toilet not working! Staff slow. Food was below average. I asked for Chicken Tikka Masala, was told I had to have chips with it, as they had no Rice. My nephew had Mixed Grill, was the mankiest Piece of Chicken included. I’m Coeliac and enquired before booking about their ability to produce a Gluten Free meal and was told no problem. For breakfast all they did was exclude the Gluten containing items. I got two pieces of burnt Gluten Free bread, no butter. There was no cutlery, and I hunted out some for my fellow guests. Our table wasn’t cleared, not even when a second coffee arrived. Was just plopped down among the used items. And an hour or so later I passed the window and the table still wasn’t cleared. We were asked on booking-in what time we would like breakfast. We said 8am. Second morning we couldn’t gain access to the main building (we had been housed in what they called the ‘Annexe’) A guest staying in the main building let us in, but no sign of staff, everywhere was locked. She had booked 8.30. I tried to contact Marstons without success, apparently they don’t work weekends. Eventually a young lady arrived to start work and dismissed our complaints with the statement “we were busy last night, so we struggled to open on time” My breakfast this morning gained a Gluten containing sausage, as did Sunday’s, I removed the sausage and hoped no cross contamination had occurred. The whole place is dingy, run-down and in need of full restoration. Outside areas, including car park, dirty and rubbish strewn. Smoking takes place just outside main door, where you have to fight your way through the crowd of smokers, this included the staff as well. An old fire bucket was provided for butts, this hadn’t been emptied in a long time, was full and spilling onto the pavement. I remember this Hotel at its best, is the complete opposite now. Bar staff were poorly trained, I asked for an Orange Juice and Lemonade, I had to explain how she was to achieve this. She struggled with the till and had to seek help. Tea making facilities were included: except we didn’t have a kettle. I obtained one from reception, which hadn’t been cleaned or descaled. I cleaned it. Not even a teaspoon was provided. No bin in bathroom, no loo brush. Extremely cheap toilet paper. Sink emptied before finishing washing. Shower dripping. Bin in room had no bin bag, and was filthy. Room was tiny, a single at best with twin beds in. The towels and bed linen were clean and of reasonable quality. Duvet very efficient. My mattress was past its best, as many had sat on the edge to watch the TV.

We loved our overnight stay at the Aaron Causeway Hotel. Our family room was clean and spacious with three proper beds and an en-suite bathroom with shower. The room had a large kettle, tea, coffee and biscuits were provided (fresh milk on request). We had dinner in the downstairs restaurant which was very good , a kid’s menu was also available. The breakfast was great with many different choices and good coffee and tea.

We attended a funeral in the area and the wake/ reception was held at this hotel. As we traveled from Sheffield we decided to stay the night at the hotel. The staff at the hotel are excellent and the rooms are of a good standard. We booked two rooms 1 Classic double and 1 Comfort double both rooms are good with the comfort being slightly smaller but still of a good size. All rooms had coffee and tea making facilities and the rooms also had a decent Wi-fi signal. We booked for the buffet breakfast and that was excellent. We had no complaints at all.

Burley Manor is a lovely hotel with an amazing countryside view, you can see the deer that come through on to the main grounds. I had paid for a package that included the following for my partners birthday - Afternoon Tea Spa massage 1-night stay The afternoon tea was sublime the room where we were sat was lovely and decorated well. All the cakes and sandwiches were freshly baked/ made on-site, we couldn't even finish all the little cakes and treats at the afternoon tea. - 10/10 would recommend. She had the Drift away massage and it was so relaxing definitely recommend getting a massage or a spa treatment. The rooms were really nice and decorated tastefully, the beds were comfy and the pillows were so fluffy! We also booked a dinner at the hotel (was not apart of the package), the dinner was incredible my partner had the Lamb which was melt in your mouth and I had the chicken which was succulent and juicy. Bonus - as it was my birthday we had rose champagne given to us on the house! This was very nice and made the stay even better. The best part of the stay was how comfortable we felt at the hotel, the staff need a round of applause as they were very accommodating and welcoming. Their waiting skills were impeccable and genuinely did not feel uncomfortable at any point. Overall I would definitely recommend Burley Manor and will definitely be returning in the near future.
