Small place which was basically a trailer tavern. Floor shakes a bit, while u are moving inside. If it rains, u can hear the sound clearly as sound proofing is not good.
We are staying in F cabin cos there are 3 of us. Staff and service are great. Best glamping experience (we had Dutch oven dinner). I am lucky to see a glimpse of mt. Fuji from our room. Overall experience is lovely but not for the price I paid. Breakfast box is a must have.
Really clean room, as with all hotels in Japan, and the room was so white, aesthetically pleasing. Dedicated room for washing with detergents provided, vending machines and even bikes here for you to rent and use during your stay here. Beautiful view of Mt Fuji once you get up on a clear day, what’s not to love it here?

Overall pleasant stay. The location is pretty nice, one minute walk to the bus station and 2 minutes walk to the JR station, but no hot spring there. Furthermore, there is a convenient store right besides.
[A paradise just for you, nestled in Fujikawaguchiko.] "Private Villa ietona"is a rental property with a view of MT.Fuji, where you can enjoy the nature of Fuji Kawaguchiko. Enjoy a BBQ and the spectacular viewson the spacious wooden deck with plenty of privacy. Refresh your mind and body in the private large bath and sauna also WATER BATH! and private japanese garden. Furthermore, you can enjoy dishes made with seasonal ingredients at the creative JAPANESE RESTAURANT operated by the owner of the facility. WHY not spend a memorable time in this special space surrounded by nature? We have 2 bed room and 1 japanese style attic. Need to pay extra cost for BBQ;we prepare salt, oil, LPG gas, dishes, tongs, cups /Not inc ingredients if you need any questions anytime beside you! THANYOU VERY MUCH
Pros: 1. Great location. Not far from the bus stop, right at the entrance to a large seven eleven, the lake is a three-minute walk away. 2. Large rooms 3. View of Fuji from the window
Cons: 1. It is unclear why you need to check in online before arrival if you have to go through the same procedure again at the counter 2. The rooms need cosmetic repairs 3. The water temperature in the shower is poorly regulated
The location is very good, the facilities on site are also excellent.
The customer service is very weak, especially considering it is a self check in policy, theoretically the accommodation will contact you via WhatsApp or Line or E-mail to send you the check in code….theoretically. To this day I haven't received my code, we managed to enter by entering the name of the person who made the reservation. It turns out that in the case of accommodation without reception, some guests may have doubts and feel uncomfortable with the lack of communication.
The accommodation is clean and has everything. The owner of the accommodation is very good. When you walk out of the accommodation, you can see the view of Mt. Fuji. 🗻 Convenient transportation, not far from Kawaguchiko Station. If I have a chance to go to Fuji again, I will go back to stay there again. Very impressed. 🤍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This place is very clean. It has spacious bedding and garden is beautiful. Not inside the facility but just right outside nearby you have a good view of fuji.
This is by far the best hotel I've stayed in Japan. Hospitality, cleanliness and food were perfect. Best value for a all-inclusive onsen resort by the lake.
Staff were friendly and attentive. From the time we arrived to the time we left, we felt welcomed and well taken care of during our stay. They received us from the carpark and got our baggage for us. When we left, they made sure to carry our luggage to the car.
Rooms and the guest onsen were clean, big and spacious, with propery air-conditioning and heating. It also has a good view of mount Fuji from the room balcony (though unfortunately it was raining for the 2 days which I was there)
The food was amazing as well, there were so many choices and we were left stuffed after both dinner and breakfast.
Would highly recommend anyone this all inclusive hotel if you have the chance.

AAnonymous UserThis is so far the best experience I had in Japan, the bell boy was waiting for us in front of the hotel.
We were specifically arrange a private room for our dinner and breakfast, unfortunately due to fogging we were unable to see Mt. Fuji during breakfast.
The in-room onsen was really fantastic with Mt. Fuji view.
NN.ShaZOur 2nd time staying here! Great location which is very near to Lawson and halal eatery nearby. Free shuttle provided from hotel to train station & vice versa. Bonus this time, got the room with Mt Fuji view! Definitely will be coming back here in near future! Keep up the good service 🤗
DDayamirAnother nice hotel we stayed in is here Hotel Route Inn. Everything was great. View frm our room is magnificient. And the best thing is they have a private onsen that u can use with a fee. And very affirdable too!! Every staff is so helpful and polite. 🥰
GGuest UserThe hotel is nestled in a quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy area. We stayed 3 nights in a room facing the lake with a magnificent view of Fuji-san. A van provides shuttle service to and from Kawaguchiko station. The restaurant is not operational hence we either ate outside or bought food back from Lawson/7-11. Hotel staff were friendly and attentive, and there were Mandarin-speaking staff. We miss it very much even though we are now in Hoshino Amoriya, which speaks a lot about the Kumonoue Fuji!
GGuest UserThis heotel is valued the money. I booked a room for 3 persons. One double bed and one single bed. The beds are comfortable enough to sleep. Hotel also provided extra pillow if you needed. There is only one pond in public bath for male room. And one for female room. The clenliness is acceptable. Breakfast is not variety choices but good quality. The car parking is available in front and at the back of the hotel.
AAnonymous UserA great hotel to stay if you want to have non-crowded onsen experience. Has smoking room on each floor, drawers filled with yukata, hair brush, cotton buds etc available on each floor as well. Upon reaching Kawaguchiko Station, you can use a pay phone and call the hotel to send someone to pick and send you to the hotel.
SSRL13064We used the payphone at the train station to call the resort and they arranged a pick up service for us. It arrived within 15 minutes of the call so we didn’t have to wait too long in the cold. It would be better if they could let us know about this arrangement in the booking confirmation.
Driver who picked us up was a delight to meet! He was cheerful, coupled with his humorous mannerism, brightened up the otherwise gloomy journey amidst the cold.
Location of the resort is quite far away. Although there was a 7-11 within 10 minutes of walking, the nearest shopping cluster was 20 minutes away, although this shopping cluster is quite a complete one with a full pharmacy, supermarket and plenty of food options, ranging from cheap to exquisite. The resort is 30 minutes walk (15 minutes drive) away from Kawaguchiko station. The location will be more convenient for travelers who drive.
We woke up with a direct view of Fuji-San! Absolutely breath taking.
Breakfast, served buffet-style was sumptuous with Japanese food. It filled us up and got us ready for the day.
Upon check out, we realized we had to book the shuttle bus to the train station. We thought it would be readily available. This was not the case as the bus at the previous timings were full. This could have been made known to us upon check in. Also, the shuttle bus is actually a 7-seater car and not a bus. Maybe right-naming the vehicle is better as it will give travelers a better understanding the capacity of the transport.
AAnonymous UserLocation: Minutes away from Gem museum if you are taking the red line bus. It's located right beside the kawaguchi lake.
Room: Very very big room enough to lay 5 futon if require. Furniture looks dated but functional and the room is kept very clean and tidy. Needs a physical key to access the room though. Has view of Kawaguchi lake and Mount Fuji by the window. That itself is already worth the money paid for.
Food: Booked the room with Dinner and breakfast included and I would recommend anyone that books the place to do so as well, very sumptuous spread and delicious too.
There is onsen within the hotel too with indoor and outdoor pool. Highly recommended for anyone considering a hotel in kawaguchi.
GGuest UserAmazing ryokan. Friendly staffs & they spoke good English. Located right by the lake and you get amazing view from one of the onsen(there are two, one for men & women). A little bit old but the rooms, lobby, hallways & elevator are clean & well maintained. Highly recommended!
SSor Yi MingPlace is close to ropeway bus stop. however, it can be a challange to carry your luggage up the hill slope which is share with cars and visitors to the ropeway.
smoking room doesnt smell smoky as they provide purifier.. but the hallway lead to the room are very smoky in smell. just has to bare with it.
once enter, required to change show for their slippers, proceed to check in, there are foreign staffs that can speak some english to help with check in
if you check in between 3 to 5pm, there are free flow of snacks (popcorns, meatbun, mugi cha) and alcohols ( lemon sour and asahi beer)
once check in u can go for onsen to relax. not mandate to wear yukata. but feel free to do so for the immersion.
the room is dated, like stuck in the 90s or early 2000s. toilet is seperate from bath.. frankly speaking its better to bath at the onsen if you dont mind ***** infront of strangers n stared by japanese guests to see if u make any mistake ( they want you to be clean in every nook and cany) as they are in the onsen
has sauna but quite small. hover 82 degree c
has old school water spray jet which u need to control manually on all 3 sides.. good luck to do it fast during cold days.
basic amendities at the onsen area.. just hair dryer, fan and thats all
bed n pillow quite soft... pillow are small but u can get more from reception.
great view of the lake from hotel room and dining area.
breakfast is ok. everyday similar menu.. buffet style breakfast.. fish, asa curry, breads, minced marinated sashimi don, corn soup and miso soups. free flow coffee, soft drinks and limited selection of fruits.
dinner is ok, buffet style but 90 min.. need to info counter what is your prefered time slot. i recommend choose dinner... cuase it is quite a distance to the bus station for food.. and the queue are horrendous but the food are nice there tho, u can even admire mt fuji.
heard the dinner theme is based on months or seasons.
