Seth Port Ciutadella

Visited with family and friends. Very beautiful hotel with a view of the sea! The rooms were perfect, massive beds (2 singles pushed together to make a super queen) with really comfortable pillows and separate duvets. Had a safe, mini fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, and a complimentary big glass bottle of water. Lovely bathroom with a big walk in shower, plenty of clothes storage and even sofa chairs in the bedroom. We had a balcony overlooking the pool. Room was cleaned daily and new towels were given, which was luxury! The breakfast was a buffet and had so much choice both continental and full English options. It even had an egg, omlette, and pancake station! Lovely selection of hot and cold drinks also. The spa was beautiful and so relaxing, kids are aloud daily until 1.30 and from 4-8 it's adults only. The outdoor area was also lovely a good choice of beds and loungers and the pools a good size although quite cold in early April which was expected. The bar serves lovely drinks and cocktails, we noticed Menorca are very generous with alcohol servings, so you get your moneys worth. The bar also did snacks/food. The chicken burger was delicious! Only a 10/15 minute walk into the town which has lots of bars and restaurants and shops, Pizzeria Roma is a must to visit for an evening meal and SAGELATERIA did amazing ice creams. You can catch buses from the town for very cheap (1.70 to Cala Blanca) and the hotel can arrange taxis for you, we got a taxi to Cala Galdana for a boat trip (Amigos boat trip) for around €30 for 4 of us. Would definitely go back the perfect holiday!

Overall really enjoyed a weeks break with my parents at the Seth Port Ciutadella. The hotel is exceptionally clean throughout with a lovely modern bar area and outdoor terrace where you can have food and drinks. The pool area is quiet and like someone else said who left a review, it was always possible to get a sun lounger with no towel down at dawn culture. All of the staff were super helpful and friendly from reception, restaurant and bar area. They helped with various advices on buses, best beaches and quickest routes to walk into Ciutadella. The only small negative was the location of our rooms which were right next to reception so could be noisy in the evening when the bar area was busy or when luggage was being dropped off as the storage room was next door. But this didn’t spoil our overall view that this is a great place to stay and will definitely be back. Thank you Seth Port!

Travelled with my Mum and Daughter. We had a standard room for 3 and we were surprised with the amount of room. There is plenty of storage for clothes and hanging space. The room and bathroom looked new, it was the start of the season, so whether the bathroom had ben updated I am unsure. We stayed Half Board. The food was perfect. Breakfast with an egg station and pancakes including continental options or the full English. Pastries and toast, fruit, I don't think it was missing anything. The dinner options were great, lovely fresh salads, meat dishes and vegetables, and a cooking station with fresh fish, chicken, lamb or steak each evening. Also Paella most evenings. The staff at the hotel are super friendly and helpful. The pool area was spacious, clean and relaxing. The pool as it was April was cool, however, we still managed to have a swim. Perfect hotel for exploring Ciutadella and the Island. We always have a car, so this enabled us to visit beaches and areas we love. A great much needed break to one of our favourite islands that we visit a number of times a year, we will definitely visit Seth Port Ciutadella again. the hotel had just opened for the season and I would most definitely visit at this time of year again.

Myself and my mum went for 2 weeks to recuperate after losing my dad. It was sooo relaxing exactly what we needed. Extremely comfortable room (junior suite), lovely pool area, bar area. The staff were all amazing couldn’t do enough for us. The only negatives were the pool was freezing! Also the spa pool and “hot tub” weren’t much warmer. One very small issue was no shelf in the shower cubicle to put your toiletries. We both have back issues so not ideal to pick them up off the floor. That’s just a personal issue really. Otherwise fantastic place. Probably go back next year!

Clean and comfortable hotel handy for exploring the city and further afield. Good Points - Kept scrupulously clean and tidy by friendly staff Good quality linens and well fitted bedrooms (although no USB sockets) Easy walk into town Good outdoor spaces for relaxing Handy secure underground car park (probably worth the 5 Euro daily charge) Good buffet selections at breakfast and dinner Ceiling fan in bedroom compensates for ineffective aircon. Bad Points - The dining area resembles an airport departure area and is soulless and depressing, not helped by an endless loop of canned music with inappropriate tunes for people wanting to relax on their holidays. The hotel could do more at little cost to make the area more inviting by adding in some partitioning and decoration. Also dim overhead lighting and add table lights at night? And do please get rid of the music! I am sure a lot more people would decide to dine there if it had a better ambiance. 5.4 Euro supplement for fresh orange juice at breakfast is frankly ridiculous. This is almost double what cafes charge. Ventilation and aircon could be a lot better. It is very hot at 07:30 opening for breakfast. Surely it could be turned on earlier? Bedroom aircon is unable to reach target temperature, but luckily there is a ceiling fan. "Early breakfast" offer for early departure is disappointing. Most hotels offer a tick sheet so customers can choose most appropriate items.

Fantastic hotel. Fifteen minute walk to the centre of beautiful Ciutadella and literally across the road from sea. Lovely and chilled atmosphere here. If you are looking for an all action resort this isn’t it. No scramble for a sun lounger, lovely pool area, great bar and great service. Had a genuinely lovely stay. Little welcome drink on arrival in the form of a local Pomada was a refreshing and lovely touch. Personally I would have liked to be able to get my room a little cooler, but the room itself was lovely. Finished to a high standard and kept very clean by the staff. Wasn’t too keen on the jazz music in the restaurant at breakfast, that was a little jarring, but that is a tiny tiny complaint in an otherwise fantastic place. Would love to return. Felt able to properly switch off and relax. We loved it.
