Check in was tricky, despite email communication asking us to nominate a time to arrive & arriving in that window, we were greeted by someone yelling over the balcony asking if we had entry instructions & when we replied no, he yelled back, 'Well why not?'. He let us in & admonished us for expecting someone to be there. He gave us a number of rapid verbal instructions & told us we were lucky he was there. This was despite several emails indicating that we would be met at the premises. In the green room ( bedroom & bathroom), the cloth chair at the desk was heavily stained, such that we wouldn't sit there. The bathroom door scraped on the floor & wouldn't close as it was larger than the doorway, so no privacy for anyone, plus bathroom smells & sounds going straight into the bedroom. Ironically, there was a key in the bathroom door, so perhaps it had once fitted the door frame. The double shower doors met at the top, but widened to about an inch gap at the bottom, so water poured out onto the floor. There was nowhere to put our toiletries. In the common kitchen area, the knife I took out of the drawer was dirty. Even though it was advertised as a B&B, there was no breakfast there in the morning. We were grateful that we had only booked this room for one night. I would recommend people to look elsewhere for accommodation.

Excellent location and nice room. Location and access instructions were easy. Disappointed in breakfast facilities as kitchen was never cleaned from prior guests, no coffee available nor milk for cereal requiring us to go out for breakfast each morning. Shower did not drain and overflowed second morning flooding bathroom and bedroom. Had to use bed quilt to soak up water. Host and contact informed but never received a response. Drain should be cleaned frequently. Unfortunately, would not recommend.

We took the train down from FCO Airport. B&B Colors was a short 15-minute walk from the station. The location is outstanding. You can see your cruise ship in port while enjoying breakfast on the balcony. The location is quiet yet close to restaurants in Civitavecchia. The rooms and bath are well appointed, clean, and basically just updated. The bed was brand new, and I slept like a baby. I highly recommend.

Like most reviewers we stayed here before our cruise and it was ideal. A 20 min walk (mostly downhill) from the train station and 10 minutes walk from the cruise shuttle bus. Very clean and modern and we loved having breakfast on the balcony. We found a fabulous wee local sea food restaurant Taverna del Porto a short walk away. Francesca was very responsive to any communication. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay here again

Lovely and comfortable room in an apartment very close to the cruise port. The hostess was very congenial and welcoming and thought of every convenience. The only downside is the minuscule elevator, which can only handle 1 person and bag at a time.
