Check in process was a faff. They waited until gone 3.10pm to start the check in process, so there was alot of people. The machine where you can check in yourself wasnt working. We wasnt offered to book any breakfast/dinner timeslots. Room 119 air con didnt work at all, the room sat at 28c, windows dont open, but there is a sign saying there is a constant wave of fresh air.. Hmmm where. I mean the hallway was much cooler. The bathroom fan didnt work either so once showers were had, that added to the heat already in the room. The only way i can explain the heat is when you travel to another country and you step off the plane, the heat hits. Yeh that was our room! We did go to reception who said he would move us, so we went and packed our stuff, went back down an hour later to be told he couldnt move us!! I think this is an ongoing issue with this hotel that really needs to be sorted out, especially when you pay such a high price. Parking charges are steep, and think if you are a PI customer then parking should at least be free. Myself and my daughter had breakfast once, my husband had already eaten, he was watched like a hawk to make sure he didnt consume anything. I mean really! Breakfast wasnt even that great.
