Ees Wyke Country House
"Having stayed in many establishments in the Lake District over the past 50 years I can safely say that this was my favourite place of them all! The location is peaceful and stunningly beautiful. The hotel was faultless in our opinion and the staff without exception simply lovely. Add to all of this the wonderful food on offer and you have a little bit of heaven. I am not sure that we will stay anywhere else in the Lake District from now."
The Cuckoo Brow Inn
"The location is great as it’s close to walking trails. The food was amazing! We had both breakfast and pre-booked dinner there and it was just soooo delicious. The staff was friendly, nice and attentive. The room was very clean, the beds were very comfy. It was nice and quiet. It’s a dog-friendly place. I will be coming back!"
