22 walkers, muddy boots and 4 dogs made very welcome, in our own room, for lunch. Staff were very patient and helpful. Lunch was not pre-ordered so we had a bit of a wait. However, when lunch arrived it did not disappoint, it had been freshly cooked and was excellent. We were all served at the same time as well. I would highly recommend this hotel for other walking groups.

The owners are so rude! I felt so uncomfortable their and at atmosphere was the worse!! Richard who works there is honestly so rude. They also forgot many items off of our Xmas dinner that we laid a lot of money for!! Wouldn’t recommend

An excellent lunch and visit to The Bell, brilliant new owners and superb hospitality from all of the staff. Wonderful lunch made up of all of the starters, which were superb, good wine and great conversation with everyone who works there. This is a little gem of a place, hope it continues its success, well deserved. Thank you for making my little dog Margaux, so welcome, and spoiling her with superb roast beef, brought to our table by the chef himself! A perfect Suffolk day, made better by such convivial surroundings!! Thoroughly recommend.

I highly recommend the Bell for food it was delicious. The staff are really friendly the owner came and sat with us after the meal .The chef came out into the restaurant and chatted at the end of the service. Definitely be going back

Went for a New Years Day meal, the menu was illegible and all over the place. The “Head Chef” was walking around with sliders on with no socks, no hair net, completely disgusting. The sandwich I order had hair in it. Left immediately after seeing it.

Walked in on the off chance, had a lovely Italian meal. Carbonara, meatballs and fish stew. Would definitely return, new chef came and introduced himself, very friendly atmosphere. All good was fresh and made to our dietary requirements.

This is simply the best roast dinner I’ve ever had out. Stunning and very generous portions with a very welcoming staff. Will absolutely be recommending this pub will definitely be returning. I’m so happy this pub is going the right direction after a few disappointing years. Well done and thank you see you soon..

Tonight was the Italian menu and it was superb! Fish stew was absolutely excellent which the chef specifically made to our liking. Meatballs with chorizo and mozzarella also very tasty. Carbonara with large pieces of bacon and chicken was excellent. Highly recommend the food.
