Shannon Springs Hotel

Armada Hotel
"I didn't expect it to be a very big hotel. It's very convenient to drive there. The hotel facilities are good and the scenery is great. It's a very ideal vacation spot. There are many options for eating, you can eat lunch and dinner in the hotel, and there is also a bar. The front desk may be a little busy when there are many people. What was surprising was seeing a double rainbow on the sea while having breakfast."
Sheedys Boutique Hotel & Restaurant
"Stayed in Sheedys for 2 nights in September for Lisdoonvarna festival. This hotel is a gem & I would have no hesitation in recommending it . The evening dinner was amazing & the breakfast was outstanding, from real tea leaves in a pot to whiskey porridge ,beautiful pancakes & home made brown bread it was a real treat from start to finish. The weather was miserable but a homely fire was waiting for us. Well done Martina & John."
Hylands Burren Hotel
"Lovely pub and Hotel in Ballyvaughan on the coast. A beautiful spot with friendly staff from reception to the bar and throughout our stay. Would highly recommend a stay if going to the West coast of Ireland, it is a great jump off point for many sights!"
Treacys Oakwood Hotel, Shannon
"No hot tub. Nice quiet environment. Easy abundant parking. Easy exit to main road. Restaurant was good."
Falls Hotel & Spa
"Facilities: OK Hygiene: OK Environment: Wow Service: OK Old hotel, the best in the area, haha, it's really incomparable with the ones in China. The children had a lot of fun in the hotel's swimming pool, and my wife and I soaked in the open-air pool for two hours. The hotel's decoration is very British style"
The Ritz House
"Very clean and cosy. Excellent pub food"
The Rine
"This is our 5th golf outing to The Rine. There’s many reasons we keep coming back. Hotel is situated just off a motorway so easy access, especially from Dublin. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean and welcoming. The dining room is large, plenty of tables even at busy breakfast times. Breakfast is freshly prepared. Great choices. The porridge is particularly good. Dinner in the dining room is exceptional. Menu caters for everyone. Service is great with Isaac watching over everything. The bar also has a really good menu and is of exceptional standard. It’s lovely to see a ‘proper’ pub in a hotel. It finishes off the night, especially if entertainment is on. But the main reason for returning must be the people. From checking in to leaving, the reception staff, bar and dining room staff and cleaning staff. They simply cannot do enough to make our stay memorable. We’re coming back. 2027 already booked!! That says everything!!!"

"⚠️ WARNING: EXTREMELY POOR HOTEL – AVOID AT ALL COSTS This is honestly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. After traveling to many countries, I have never encountered such a neglected, outdated, and unpleasant place. Condition of the hotel: The entire hotel feels like it hasn’t been renovated in at least 50 years. Everything is worn out, broken, and in terrible condition. Door handles are loose, furniture is damaged, and the overall atmosphere is depressing. Cleanliness: Absolutely unacceptable. The carpets are filthy and look decades old. The floors are dirty, and it feels like nothing has been properly cleaned in years. Bathroom & shower: Disgusting. The bathtub is cracked, old, and looks extremely unhygienic. The shower is rusty and in such poor condition that it was genuinely unpleasant to use. It felt dirty even after trying to clean it myself. Heating & windows: Heating does not work at all. Old radiators provide no warmth, and cold air comes through the windows constantly. The room was freezing. Noise: From early morning (around 8 AM), there was constant noise. You can hear everything — neighbors, movement, and general disturbance. No chance to rest. Bed & bedding: The bed creaks with every movement. The blanket feels like it’s made of paper — thin, uncomfortable, and completely inadequate. Overall impression: This place is in terrible condition and should not be operating as a hotel. It is outdated, dirty, uncomfortable, and poorly maintained in every possible way. ❌ I strongly do NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. You will be extremely disappointed."

"A little bit far from the main bus station but its still manageable."

"My wife and I had the pleasure of an overnight stay at Blossom Hill. Excellent bed and breakfast. Made very welcome by Norman, whose local knowledge is first class. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area. Unfortunately we did not have the time to explore the area, but maybe on another visit."
Carrygerry Country House
"Not bad, not bad at all, this country inn"
