McWilliam Park Hotel

I come to claremorris every weekend from my work in Dublin. I visit the McWilliam park hotel with friends ongoing and came across a fantastic barman Gary. Pulls the best pint in Ireland and is one one of the soundest men in the west of Ireland. I must add that Jamie and Mella are absolutely top tier professionals too and couldn’t recommend them higher. By far my favourite spot for a pint. Well done to all

Disappointing Experience: Poor Service I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the service I received during my visit to your restaurant last night.Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of my expectations. First and foremost, the service was unacceptably slow. Despite arriving at a relatively quiet time, I waited for over 28 minutes to order something to drink, and ordering my food. I called the waiters, the were passing by they ignored us for the first two attempt. The third time i had the real shout to get their attention, all i could receive as response, is WAIT. Likely the manage was so good he came to take our food order. We waiting for another 26 minutes for my food & drinks to arrive. This extended wait time significantly detracted from my dining experience and left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. Furthermore, the staff appeared disorganized and inattentive. It was challenging to get their attention, and when I did, they seemed indifferent to my concerns. The lack of communication and responsiveness only added to my frustration. I sincerely hope that you will take this feedback seriously and address the issues with your service. Improving communication, efficiency, and attentiveness among your staff members would undoubtedly enhance the overall dining experience for your customers. I went for dinner with my husband on Sunday. The dinner was top tier, our server Mella made our experience even better. She was so attentive to us from the moment we sat down until we left. She made our night. Highly recommend to everyone, very happy customers!

Stayed here recently for a family celebration in the locality, from start to finish everything was most enjoyable, we stayed in a room on the ground floor which we found to be so comfortable, clean and welcoming as soon as you walked in the door. We met Ann Marie who was the Manager working when we arrived, she was so polite and welcoming she could not do enough for us she certainly is an asset to the hotel. While the Hotel was reasonably quiet in the evening there was a very pleasant atmosphere around, food was lovely in the bar area, plentiful and hot. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to a return in the not too distant future .

Room was lovely, recently refurbished. Hotel was very quiet for a Saturday night and didn't reflect the high price paid for the room. Perhaps if room rates were more reasonable there would have been more residents and a better atmosphere. Had bar food which was very tasty. Breakfast was lovely. Ann Marie was very helpful and friendly, even when busy she still had took time to speak with us. She's a real asset to the hotel.

Just in for lunch, food good and served quickly, highlight was our server, Tatiana, whose attention and consideration was a pleasant change from many establishments. Her enthusiasm and attention was enhanced by her wonderful smile which brightened the whole experience.

Had a family dinner on Easter Sunday. The food was great, great portions and good voice, everyone enjoyed their meal. Our waitress Ira was lovely, very helpful and very friendly, great service and great atmosphere will definitely be back 😃

Had a lovely meal in Kavanagh’s Bar and enjoyed the music too. A nice ending to our recent holiday visiting family and friends. We always drop in to the McWilliam when we are in Ireland. Will definitely be back soon. Served by Jamie a very pleasant young man.

We had a lovely family meal in the McWilliam hotel. It was a large gathering of 24 people but the staff managed it all so well. The food was lovely and a great choice of dishes from the bar menu. The staff were very attentive, particularly Marie. A very positive experience- thanks all
