The location is beautiful, the food is outstanding, the rooms are comfortable and the spa is pleasant. We had some issues with WiFi in our room which was slightly disappointing as we had to sit in a common area at one point to use it. The room cleanliness was also very slightly not up to my standard but nothing major. And the rooms are not very soundproofed. We were in a room that had an ajoining door (but we didn't know the people in the other room) and we could hear every word they said. Overall I still give 5 stars as we just can't fault the food and the service from the restaurant staff!

Had a problem with my golf booking which Ardincote sorted out in a professional way thanks to James. Played the golf course which was in excellent condition enjoyed the experience would recommend and I will definitely play again. I required a buggy because of health reasons this was organised satisfactory thanks. Staff were friendly and very helpful so I would recommend Ardincote

Visited Ardencote for a friend’s wedding. Stunning location and a lovely quality hotel. Food was very good. A couple of issues. 1. A lot of staff were clearly young and new to the job. They were inattentive and talking amongst themselves rather than serving. A training issue maybe? 2. On the second day (a bank holiday) the key to our room stopped working at lunchtime. After two attempts to sort this out, we had to be let in by staff using a master key with a promise that the issue would be fixed quickly. Later that day, we discovered that the issue was not fixed and the reception staff had gone home. Had to speak to the duty manager who got a senior member of staff to resolve the situation. Not really acceptable service from a 4* hotel we feel.

We went to Ardencote for our team away days. the staff are incredibly friendly, and helpful, no query was too much for them. The atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The food was fantastic, all dietary requirements were catered for. Is definitely value for money.

My daughter and I stayed at Ardencote for 3 nights, bed and breakfast. Hotel was nice, staff friendly, grounds lovely, swimming pool - my daughter loved. BUT……for a 4 star hotel, there were no bath robes or slippers in the bedroom, no biscuits with the tea and coffee making facilities, even a Premier Inn you get biscuits. The bathroom was small and some of the grouting in the tiles needed a scrub due to black mildew.

Having just returned from an 1nt spa break we can't wait to return for a longer stay. We booked the overnight stay with one included spa treatment, lunch and dinner on eve of arrival and breakfast on leaving day. Absolute 💯 % positive experience from arrival until departure. All the staff we encountered were friendly, helpful and really cared for their guests and clients. We checked in the spa area at given time of 10am( leaving cases in car) we given towels, robe and slippers and a run down of where everything was in the spa area. Changing rooms, c showers and loos very clean with hair dryers provided. We used the facilities of destination spa, outside warm plunge pool, plenty of recliners around outdoor pool area for a spot of sunbathing sunshine. Everywhere very quiet , calm and relaxing without the mass of guests as other spas encountered. Light Lunch was brilliant, expected just a snack but the menu ranged from salads, to fish, burgers, chips etc. Spa facial treatment that was included in break price was exceeded expectations, so relaxing and definitely not rushed, really tranquil. Used the facilities of the indoor pool area for the remainder of afternoon, until check in. Interconnected rooms were allocated as requested, excellent rooms , both extremely fresh, clean, lovely crisp bedlinins, tea/coffee tray and ample white company toiletries in bathroom. Evening meal, a great selection on menu well cooked, and tasty. Likewise breakfast, great selection of self serve ,hot and cold dishes. A brilliant night away and definitely will return very soon

Nice location and lovely surroundings The rooms and staff have never disappointed 👍 room rate has crept up by £10 not sure why The menu is very samey if you are staying for a few nights My complaint as always is the breakfast is always cold Not great for eggs Mentioned this many times but no change Not a real problem for me as I only have continental. A few hot plates would fix this and then make the place A1 Management please listen to the feedback

My friend and I visited Ardencote for a spa break. The destination spa was great, and we really enjoyed that - I’d give that five stars apart from that the hot tub jets weren’t working. The rest of the hotel was a bit disappointing though. I appreciate that the spa lunch was supposed to be a light lunch, however we needed to order extra chips to make sure we had enough to eat (neither of us are massive eaters). The rooms are fine, nice view from ours, and the beds were comfortable but the pillows mediocre and one of the bedspreads was frayed. The regular spa area needed some attention, with boards missing from the sauna and an unsettling noise while we were in the steam room. The food at dinner was average, with friendly but slightly slap dash service. Deserts seemed bought in, with not a lot of substance to them. Breakfast was disappointingly below average. Juices were warm and not replenished, and the same for the yogurts. Both juice and yogurts tasted very cheap. I wasn’t offered tea until after I’d eaten, and it was grey. The cooked breakfast was particularly disappointing. Bacon was greasy and overcooked. Scrambled eggs were runny and separated. Fried eggs were crusty on top. Pastries were sad looking. The large dining room was very dated. It was often difficult to know who staff were as the uniform is back top and trousers, and I didn’t want to hassle another guest by mistake! The ability to charge things to your room (like drinks at e spa bar) would be really helpful.
