Rosemead Guest House ★★★
"In need of a major renovation. The odour of stale cooking oil permeates the nostrils upon arrival. The room also smelled so had to open the window. Tired, drab and not worth the money. Broken blind ,cracked and rusty sink, shower tray floor broken .Laminate flooring was uneven underfoot. Decor poor. Paid extra for ensuite. We didn't have breakfast. Only time you see the proprietor is to collect the money before you see your room. Milk and teabags weren't replenished and no sign of refills. On the plus side it was clean and the bed was comfortable. We wouldn't stay again."

José Pizarro the Swan Inn Esher ★★★
"Rooms were looking a bit tired & could do with a freshen up. Food was very good, but not cheap and drinks were also quite expensive. Also only keg beers were available - both cask options were not available"
