Cannot fault our stay at Ashbourne travel lodge. We priced staying in Alton Towers and could get two en-suite rooms here for the price of one at Alton Towers. I stayed here with my mother in law and my 2 year old daughter. The price was our first plus point but the hotel did not disappoint. Rooms were immaculate and well equipped. The location of the hotel was ideal for us. The Aldi and pub close by were great for us, especially the park for my daughter. The pub doesn’t open until 11am so a short 2min drive away was an m&s cafe which was perfect for breakfast before heading to Alton Towers for the day. The location was perfect for our trip to cebeebies land, just a 15-20min drive away in the countryside. I highly recommend Ashbourne Travellodge and will definitely stay here again next time we visit Alton Towers.

Spent 3 nights here mon-thursday. Drove from Scotland and the reason for staying was that Alton towers is only a 15-20min drive away! Room was clean and plenty of space for myself and my 2 children! We were on the first floor which was a set of stairs (a lift would have been good as I had a big case with me, but we managed) Location was perfect for what I needed, there is an Aldi 10 steps away and a Marstons restaurant/pub a short walking distance too. Had an issue with the breakfast and Tried to go through travelodge website/phone number! NIGHTMARE! the website is not easily accessible if you need to contact someone! Regarding the issue with breakfast, I spoke with Annie at reception and she was top notch! Sorted the issue and was super lovely about it! She was understanding,compassionate, professional and overall just a lovely woman!! Thank you Annie!! She could tell I was stressed about the issue and she fixed it for me! What a gem of a woman!!

Good location on route to Alton Towers which was around 15 minutes away. Recently refurbished and clean. Limited amenities (no hairdryer). Aldi and a pub next door.

We stayed at Travelodge Ashbourne to be near Alton Towers. It was only a 15 minute drive away. This Travelodge was clean, staff were friendly and welcoming. There is a restaurant and Aldi nearby. Overall a good stay. I wouldn't recommend all Travelodge's but this one is a good option. Would recommend.

We enjoyed this hotel and at £26 a night we couldn’t have found cheaper. The accessible room was very loud being right by reception but this wasn’t an issue.

Beautiful presented room and the same welcome from the manager that we have come to expect here. Standards are high and the staff are very welcoming, Aldi was having some work carried out so some noise was apparent but on the whole we would not stay anywhere else on a visit to Ashbourne. Great standards as usual.

Conveniently situated near Alton Towers with a lovely pub & Aldi store across the road. Clean hotel with lots of parking in a very quiet area. If you are visiting Alton Towers & looking for a budget friendly overnight stay in would definitely recommend.

After a hard morning the lady on reception Annie was very welcoming and helpful thankyou Annie for your generosity it is very much appreciate would definitely recommend after a hard day's work or to de stress nice and quiet with a supermarket just at the front very handy
