After arriving at the hotel, it was already more than two o'clock in the morning. The front desk gave the room very quickly. The room was large and very clean. Daily changing towels, taking out the trash, etc', location is great for this city (it looks not scary to walk around that neighborhood even late at night). The hotel is just a couple of minutes walk from a side entrance to Iulius Mall. In this big and modern mall there is also a big Aushan supermarket, a big selection of fast food chains, Starbucks and local caffe, etc' for almost every taste. You can also take a walk in the park around the lake and near the mall and the hotel. Taxis with affordable prices in Cluj, especially when you use apps and not catch on the street. Bolt is a bit cheaper than Uber. For example, the trip to airport from the hotel was ~ 30 romanian lei (about 6 euro).

Liked · Location is within walking distance from the centre and old town, but it is still a 20-25 minute walk. Clean room. Average breakfast. The deep fried zucchini is very good. I had a room towards the yard and it was very quiet (both towards the outside as well as towards the hallway). Disliked · The hotel interior feels sterile and not cozy. Part of the reason for this is that the lighting in the hotel throughout is cold white and in the rooms the lights are much too strong (except bathroom, where it is not strong enough). Suggestion to management: hire a lighting consultant for advice how to change to warmer light to make the lighting work to the hotel's advantage. Also add a few plants here and there to reduce the sterile feeling. I missed fresh bread for breakfast, only toast was available. The music during breakfast was extremely cheesy, elevator style (maybe suitable for pensioners?). However, the real problem was that I was double charged for a one night stay. I was getting suspicious about payment issues already when the owner asked me if I wanted to change the credit card that I had used for the reservation through another website. (Was it to cancel my original reservation in order to avoid paying commission to them?) Since the credit card reservation for the second night was never cancelled even though we decided to stay only one night, I had to write and complain. Despite writing four e-mails about it (of course using the correct e-mail adress) I never got a response from the hotel. Finally I turned to my bank showing them the proof and the bank swiftly reimbursed me for the double payment.

I loved the reception of Mr Diego and Mr Gustavo, the reception was full, but they kept good humor, they were kind and we still gained upgrade, we used room service, okay. We had problems to call the hotel, when we got the booking girl told us about the site to make the reservation and it was quiet. It made the difference, it was a courtyard for stay but we like everything. Thank you!

Bedrooms on the side, very close to the airport (you can hear the airplane launching, but it is not burdensome). Rooms are stone-stormed, clean. Beds are very comfortable. Air conditioning in the room. Bathrooms narrow, shower flood could clean more accurately.

La Villa si trova fuori dal centro della città ed è su una collina. L'hotel è molto bello con una bella piscina al centro e prato intorno. La struttura è moderna e le camere sono al piano terra con grandi vetrate e salottino esterno che dà sul giardino. Camere spaziose e pulite, le pareti del bagno sono interamente in vetro parzialmente oscurate da vetro acidato per un minimo di privacy, decisamente d'effetto. L'hotel è dotato di parcheggio e di ristorante dove si mangia benissimo. Il prorpietario è italiano, perciò la cucina è ottima. Hanno piatti sia italiani che rumeni e anche brasiliani. Assolutamente da provare anche per l'atmosfera che si respira all'interno del bar - ristorante. Assolutamente da provare se vi trovate da queste parti...
