Babs was outstanding! Service was speedy and with a smile, bar was hot. Pork was really nice and so was the sticky toffee pudding.

One of the best roast dinners we’ve ever had! A lovey catch up with old friends in a lovely setting. Highly recommend this place for lunch :)

We were passing through the area and stopped here for Sunday lunch. The food was very good although rather expensive at £22 for roast beef, £21 for pork belly. The pub itself, decor etc was very nice and waiting staff were friendly.

It must be a couple of years since we went to the Blue Ball for Sunday lunch. First impressions were excellent the new, clean fresh decor since our last visit gives a it a much improved atmosphere. The waiting staff were polite and attentive and we were served a delicious roast beef. My only complaint was that I wanted more! Well done Blue Ball. WE shall be back soon.

A huge big THANKS to the Blue Ball for fitting us in for motorhome parking and everything else over the Women’s World Cup rugby weekend. We were both so impressed with the logistics sorting out all the parking for the rugby games - wow, that’s some organising you go through getting everyone in! We had some beer in the sunshine (Saturday, obvs - pouring with rain on Sunday!) and a super breakfast on Sunday morning - again, loved the fact that you were so busy for breakfast too. Although we didn’t stay in any of the rooms, they looked super and the location is perfect for M5, Sandy Park ground or a mooch around Exeter. Highly Recommended

With easy we parked, enjoyed breakfast and we returned later to enjoy a lovely meal at The Blue Ball, friendly and warm welcome is always a good sign. The food was lovely our meals were delicious. Many thanks.
