Tawa Refugio del Puelo

I spent a long weekend in Tawa with my 18 and 8 year old. The experience was absolutely outstanding. The location and landscape is breathtaking, the activities out of this world, the food of the highest quality and the service amazing. We had the time of our lifes, embraced with nature and well the most priviledge and fortunate people on earth. After thinking it a lot we went for the full experience package to have all the activities we wanted included with an exclusive guide at our side. It was the best decision we could have made we were lucky to have Diego as our guide which enhanced all the experience to it's full potential. We hope to be back soon.

My family and I stayed here for 4 nights and had the loveliest time. The lodging, the food, the activities could not have been better and we were blown away by it all. What made our stay so memorable though were the exceptional guides. We had amazing excursions every day lead by them and were blown away by their expertise. All the staff and guides at Tawa Refugio were incredibly friendly and made our stay so special. We can’t recommend this place enough and hope to return soon!

The hotel was beautifully appointed and located right on the glacial lake. The view outside of our room was gorgeous. The highlight of our stay was the food, which was absolutely incredible in terms of quality and presentation. Our sincerest thanks to the kitchen crew. The reception staff was extremely kind and hard-working. We especially appreciated Diego. Our only complaint was the lack of information that we were able to obtain from the reception crew. When we asked about information about local activities, we were directed to a QR code. The QR code was broken. We were received several text messages from the team about recommendations of things to do nearby, without addresses, locations and/or other useful info. English is a second language for all of the staff. Written, English language material would be so appreciated rather than a broken web link. Additionally, we encountered a 2 Hour Rd. closure on the way back from the hotel to the airport. We were the only people sitting in the line of traffic for an hour. We were not warned that this could happen, although locals definitely were informed.

Best service ever!!.. views, super clean rooms and don't forget to jump on the hot tubs after Long days of activities. The restaurant is great with a full varieties of options for breakfast and good wine selections for lunch and dinner also good local beers

Perfect One of the best places I have ever stayed. Everything was amazing & service outstanding. Assisted in organising our hike into tagua tagua park which was a highlight. Excellent food. Hope to return one day
