"We celebrated a birthday with over 20 people here. At the beginning there was a small sect reception, then a à la carte food with then cozy finish. All from the beginning to the end can only be called with absolutely super. We were all agreed that we haven't eaten so well outdoors for a long time. We would like to mention especially the friendly service forces, which were simply unsuccessful. The price-performance ratio can also be described as very good. We can recommend the forest hotel Kurprint fully for this kind of celebration and will be happy to come back."

"we checked at 18.7.25 into Christa’s house in Bissone. Unfortunately, the accommodation was completely unacceptable and turned out to be a disaster for our family. To reach the house, we had to climb nearly 170 steps—none of which were lit. This posed a serious safety risk, especially with children and luggage. When we finally arrived, we were shocked by the condition of the property. The house was run-down, the furniture was old, worn out, and arranged without any care. The entire place had a musty smell and felt neglected. Inside, it was extremely hot. There was no air conditioning or even a fan available. To make things worse, we were constantly bitten by mosquitoes throughout the night. The bathrooms, while possibly recently updated, did not meet basic hygiene or comfort standards. After a horrible night, we had no choice but to leave the house the very next morning and urgently look for new accommodation—causing us a great deal of stress and ruining the beginning of our trip . I submitted an honest review of the accommodation in Bissone (Christa’s house) on your platform (FeWo-direkt/Vrbo), but it was never published. I now understand why there are only positive or somewhat acceptable reviews visible on the listing"

"We've stayed here before and really liked it. This time was the same. Staff is very friendly, location is very convenient for walking into Cochem proper. Breakfast was good and the rooms were comfortable and quiet. The only issue this time was the parking. All the lots right by the hotel were full so I had to park up the road a ways and that made for loading and unloading rather difficult. But apart from that, it was enjoyable as always and will stay here again when in this area."

"An impeccably run and maintained hotel about 15-20min walk from the centre of Cochem. If you're looking for a hotel to explore Cochem and the nearby region, you can't go wrong with Stumbergers. We'll be staying here next time we're in Cochem/ doing Nürburgring. The Great - Room size and cleanliness. Everything was very well maintained and of good quality. - Breakfast. Continental style with eggs. Everything fresh and food quality. - Staff. Friendly, responsive, and make you feel very welcome. - Location. Quiet at night, supermarket (Penny) 3mim walk. Walking by the river into town is easy (flat) and enjoyable. - The on site bar/ restaurant. Only open during the day when we were staying with a limited menu, but very well priced and tasty. The Average - No fridge in the room, there's plenty of room for it. But they did let us keep my medication in their fridge. - Check out time is the same as breakfast. I'd recommend extending check out to 10.30am to allow guests a bit of time after eating. The Bad - Nothing! This place sets a high benchmark for small hotels in Europe. I only wish more were like this. Even the big chains could learn a lot from this hotel."

"Our recent good fortune to visit Cochem with good friends was made into an exceptionaly fun and relaxing experience while staying at Villa Tummelchen! Riner and Monika are the most gracious and pleasant hosts we've ever encountered in our travels. All aspects of our stay were exceptional with Villa Temmulchen being perfectly located just far enough off the Market Plaz to be quiet yet easy to access all of Cochem, the Reichsburg Castle and the riverfront. With outstanding views of town and the Moselle from the large patio, the riverboat cruise ships and vibrant waterfront were fun to watch while relaxing. Equally beautiful views of the Reichsburg from the backyard lounge chairs; Villa Tummelchen was a perfect stay for us. All accommodations were comfortable, clean, well organized with an outstanding breakfast. We can't get back soon enough!"

"His hotel was very friendly and super helpful with any needs. We also ate at his restaurant in the evening and it was spectacular! Excellent food with excellent portion size for a very very affordable price and such high quality. Would definitely recommend anyone who visits Cochem or the surrounding area for Burg Eltz to stay there. Wonderful time!"

"We just returned from a trip to Europe that included a 4 night stay at Hotel Restaurant Zur Marienburg. We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful hotel. The hotel is just beautiful and very clean. The hotel and restaurant staff go out of their way to make your stay very enjoyable. The food in the restaurant was just delicious and every morning there was a huge assortment of delicious breakfast foods. The food presentation was so professional. Additionally, they had an afternoon coffee and cake area with the most delicious desserts. If we ever get the chance to return to this area, we will definitely stay here again and would recommend it to everyone! Everything at the hotel and restaurant is first class!"
