"Just 15-20 minutes from st. Tropez and even closer to st. Maxime lies this hotel in a quiet town (Cogolin). Take note that in morning and afternoon there is a lot of traffic on the roads towards the coast so you can easily double that time. The hotel is close (5 minutes) walk from the city centre with some very nice restaurants. The hotel itself is clean has good parking and even a swimming pool. Entrance is spacious and there is a bar where you can buy drinks. Rooms are typical Ibis, just good. Only thing here is that they really need to exchange the mattresses. They were long overdue. Breakfast is more than ok with fresh fruits, cereals, multiple types of bread and so on. You can eat outside and inside. Very nice. Actually the only thing that lacks here is a good and reliable internet connection. If they would correct this together with the new mattresses it is worth a good 5 stars. Nevertheless I would return here for sure."

"The hotel is suitable for kids camp or travellers that like campers / caravans, because you get similar conditions like in a camping / hostel. Th9e management looks like want to gradually renovate the place but only using paint is not enough, even the bathroom tiles were painted. I give 3 out of 5 because the personnel are really friendly, breakfast was good, location is good and price is attractive. The hotel is suitable for people with lower expectations to hygiene and comfort."

"We were two girlfriends traveling to Cogolin this summer, and staying at Le Coq Hôtel was truly one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The hotel itself is sumptuous, beautifully designed, elegant yet warm, and every detail feels carefully thought out. But what made our stay unforgettable was the owner. He was incredibly friendly and welcoming — honestly one of the kindest hosts we’ve ever met. He even upgraded our room, which was such a lovely surprise, and shared a ton of local tips that completely transformed our stay. Thanks to him, we discovered places we never would have found on our own. He even went the extra mile and booked a table for us at Pablo, the trendiest club on the peninsula. And the best part? He came for a drink with us there! It made the whole evening feel so special and unique. We felt like VIPs everywhere we went. We left with amazing memories and a huge smile. If you’re thinking about staying at Le Coq Hôtel — do it. You’ll be taken care of from start to finish, and you’ll experience Cogolin in the best way possible. We can’t recommend it enough! 💛🐓"
