Coco Lagoon by Great Mount

We stayed for one night on route to Kochi. Good points Lovely pool, and outside area was beautiful and the rooms were like little bungalows. Staff were welcoming and friendly. We had dinner and breakfast which were nice good choices. We didn't do any activities so cannot comment on that. The only real bad point was the beds were so hard i had trouble sleeping, if it had been more comfortable i would have given 5 *

We stayed here on our way from Ooty to Madurai. The setting is very attractive, however the rooms although well maintained, were somewhat bland. I was glad that we only spent the one night.

Coco Lagoon turned out to be a great choice for our family get together. The resort has a very calming ambience, situated away from the main road and surrounded by greenery. Everything about the resort has been thought through - the design and layout, the landscaping, the entertainment possibilities, etc, it appears. The rooms are spacious with a view of the outside. The bathrooms well organised and built with good quality supplies. The food in the restaurant was tasty, catering to a wide variety of tastes through the different menus. The service was excellent and the staff, very helpful. You can simply chill in the resort, take a dip in the pool or go for a walk to the nearby river besides many other activities that are supported on the premises and outside. I would strongly recommend this resort if you want a break from your city life or to travel to places like Topslip and Parambikulam nearby or simply just unwind from your hectic life. You will come back feeling relaxed. We had a lovely time at our get together at Coco Lagoon resort. Everyone enjoyed the resort, the food, the service and the hospitality while there. Your staff did a great job, taking care of our demands and needs, very well. Thank you for everything. 🙏💕

The resort offers outstanding hospitality with staff who are warm and attentive.The food is absolutely delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Every meal feels like a fine-dining experience with great variety. A perfect blend of luxury, taste, and comfort. Prerna ,Mekal , Shashi kala, Preyash, Vishnu, Tirupati were exceptionally courteous, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Special thanks to your HR Shakti Velu for his warmth and support. His dedication truly made my experience more memorable. He shows such a heartfelt gratitude and respect towards me. — highly recommended!

PROS: Friendly and helpful staff. We reached early, yet they allowed us to check in. Same way, on check out day, we were allowed to be in and use the property amenities till end of the day. No harsh treatment. Rooms and facilities were good - we stayed in a Deluxe one and that was good. Food was awesome especially if you have taste buds for Kongu style food. Access to Topslip, Parambikulam, Valparai, etc., - if you want to get yourself submerged into nature / green... Mr. Narayanan would organize trips. We went to Parambikulam Tiger Reserve and took 3 hours of safari - we don't get to do this often and so, was worth it. We took all activities - Pool, Pottery, River Walk (was favourable for us to venture into the river), Bullock Cart ride, Futsal court, indoor games like TT, Carrom, foosball, etc., - decent and enjoyable. Our kid enjoyed swimming pool to his fullest content. CONS: There could be more restrooms / toilet facilities in common areas. When the occupancy is more, it becomes unmanageable for them. Not all food were available all the time - so be mindful of the timings. VERDICT: Will definitely recommend - for bachelors, families - all alike. Great escape and got lost into Nature.
